  • Patent number: 10183538
Abstract: The present invention relates to a portable storage and locking apparatus that permits towing hitches and hitch-mountable accessories to be stored and locked to trailers, vehicles, buildings and other locations having exposed frames, beams, channels or other structures and storage locations. The apparatus does not require tools or hardware to mount and uses a pair of spaced-apart side plates joined to form a u-shaped mount that slides over a frame. The side plates have at least one pair of square-shaped aligned holes near the open ends, which extend past the frame and are configured to insert a towing hitch or accessory. With the apparatus over a frame, and a towing hitch or accessory inserted in the square holes, the apparatus is effectively secured to the frame and cannot be removed. A trailer hitch locking pin may be used to lock the hitch or accessory to the apparatus, and therefore to the frame.

  • Publication number: 20180294714
Abstract: An active electromagnetic interference (EMI) filter includes a first amplifier and a second amplifier. The first amplifier is configured to sense noise signals on a power conductor. The second amplifier is coupled to the first amplifier and is configured to drive a cancellation signal onto the power conductor. The cancellation signal is to reduce the amplitude of the noise signals sensed by the first amplifier. An output impedance of the second amplifier is lower than an output impedance of the first amplifier.

  • Patent number: 10015213
Abstract: An interactive organization architecture and application platform and methods for use with social reading systems and networks are disclosed for permitting users to interact while viewing the pages of electronic content, for example, a book. Users may highlight text and attach a comment, link, poll, or quiz to the text of the electronic content. As other readers peruse through the electronic content, they are either presented with the notes as they read or are presented with aggregated notes in their feed, which may be determined as relevant based on predetermined criteria. Users may share content with others in multiple private and public discussion threads. The social reading platform system and methods also include other features that facilitate discovery, collaborative reading, assignment of tasks, review of tasks by teachers and peers etc.

  • Publication number: 20170306937
Abstract: An axial piston pump including a housing, a cylinder block, and a swash block. The cylinder block is rotatable within the housing about a vertical axis and includes an array of openings in the cylinder block distributed about the vertical axis and an array of pistons reciprocatably movable within the respective openings. The swash block is rotatable about an axis of rotation that is transverse to the vertical axis, and the degree of rotation is configured to control the extent of reciprocation of the pistons as the cylinder block rotates. The swash block has arc shape conical bearing surfaces tilted relative to the axis of rotation that are configured to guide movement of the swash block rotationally about the axis of rotation and prevent movement of the swash block axially along the axis of rotation.

  • Publication number: 20170265658
Abstract: A fastener for mounting a frame onto a previously installed mirror which does not require screws or adhesives. The fastener has a support panel, a first brace, and a second brace. The support panel functions as the primary support member that is positioned in between the first brace and the second brace. The first brace is a fastener that is mounted onto a first side of the support panel. Additionally, the first brace is used intended to be affixed to the edge of a previously installed mirror Like the first brace, the second brace is a fastener that is mounted onto the support panel. However, the second brace is mounted onto a second side of the support panel and intended to be affixed to a frame. This configuration enables the fastener to function as a mounting device that is positioned in between the frame and the mirror.
