  • Patent number: 11075964
Abstract: Systems and techniques for permitting, establishing, monitoring and controlling calls based on messages from outside parties, outside party availability information, institution's call restriction information, and/or account holder preferences. In one example, a message from an outside party app on an outside party computing device is receive by an inmate app on an inmate device. The inmate device displays the message at the inmate calling app including a request for the inmate to call the outside party device during a time period. When the inmate initiates a call to the outside party the call is permitted or not permitted based on determining whether the call is within the specified time period.

  • Publication number: 20210062028
Abstract: A flexible inkjet-printed article is prepared by: A?) providing an ink receptive medium having a substrate and an aqueous-based ink-receptive layer. This layer has: (a) a water-soluble salt of a multivalent metal cation; (b) one or both of a polyvinyl alcohol and a polyvinyl amine (or a copolymer derived from a vinyl alcohol and a vinyl amine) at 0.5-30 weight %; and optionally, (c) a crosslinking agent and (d) silica particles. At least one aqueous pigment-based ink is deposited directly on the aqueous-based ink-receptive layer, each having: a) an anionically-stabilized pigment colorant; and b) a water-miscible humectant at 1-20 weight %, each having a carbon to oxygen atom ratio of ?1.0:1.0 and only two hydroxy groups. After drying, a functional layer with adhesive composition is formed on the inkjet-printed image and a flexible material is laminated to the functional layer, to form a flexible inkjet printed article.

  • Patent number: 10805402
Abstract: A method and system for verifying a location of an entity is provided. The method includes monitoring a request broadcast by an entity for verifying a first location of the entity. The request is detected as being received and verification data indicating that the entity has been located at the first location during a specified timeframe is received. A resulting acknowledgement is transmitted, and the verification data is stored in a database. A compensation indication associated with providing the verification data is transmitted to a device.

  • Patent number: 10771614
Abstract: An upcoming event associated with a predicted time in the future is detected. A set of users of a database that have responded to events of the database that correspond with the upcoming event may be identified. Data on a current state of each user of the set of users may be gathered, after which a user of the set of users to respond to the upcoming event may be identified by analyzing the data and the database. It may be determined, using the database and the data, that it is approaching a deadline time at which the user must act in order to respond to the upcoming event by the predicted time. A reminder for the user may be generated in response to determining that it is approaching the deadline time.

  • Publication number: 20200242538
Abstract: Utilizing blockchain ledgers with mobile robotic machines is provided. A first digital certificate is assigned to a requesting entity. The first digital certificate identifies the requesting entity within a network. A request is generated for performance of a task by a mobile robotic machine. Generating the request includes: requesting the mobile robotic machine to perform the task; receiving an acceptance of the task from the mobile robotic machine; and assigning a second digital certificate to the mobile robotic machine. The second digital certificate is signed using the first digital certificate and indicates that the mobile robotic machine is authorized to perform the task. A public key of the second digital certificate is posted to member entities of the network where other member entities responsible for an item corresponding to the task are able to use the public key to confirm authorization of the mobile robotic machine to perform the task.

  • Patent number: 10694372
Abstract: A method that includes receiving, at an agent in a subset of a set of agents, a request to verify a location of an entity, the location of the entity made of unverified location data obtained from the entity, where each agent in the subset of agents satisfies a credibility metric specified in the request. The method also includes generating, at the agent, a second location data corresponding to the entity, causing, responsive to the generating, a computation of a verification value, and transmitting the verification value in a response, where the verification value is indicative of a rejection of the location of the entity responsive to the location of the entity failing to be within a tolerance value of the second location.
