Patent number: 10237404Abstract: Systems and techniques are disclosed for establishing inbound calls and outbound calls involving inmates and outside parties. One exemplary technique receives input identifying authorized sources who are authorized to initiate and conduct calls with an inmate and stores a list of the authorized sources. The list, for example, can include telephone numbers, VOIP caller identifiers, and/or call privileges associated with the sources. The technique receives an inbound call directed to the inmate and determines whether the source of the inbound call is authorized or not, for example, by comparing information about the source with information in the list of authorized sources and/or based on the call privileges. If the source is authorized, the call is permitted. If not the technique routes the call to a payment interface for the caller to provide payment information.Type: GrantFiled: October 24, 2017Date of Patent: March 19, 2019Assignee: CONFINEMENT TELEPHONY TECHNOLOGY, LLCInventors: Zachary Alan Way, Timothy Edwin Pabon, Todd Russell Thomasson, Rick Allen Lubbehusen

Patent number: 8801129Abstract: A method for operating a jetting module includes applying to a drop forming mechanism a sequence of drop formation waveforms in which a small-drop waveform applied after another identical small-drop waveform causes a small drop of volume Vs to be formed; applying a large-drop waveform after another identical large-drop waveform causes a large drop of volume VL to be formed, and applying a large-drop waveform adjacent to a small-drop waveform can be done in a way that produces a large drop having a volume VL2, where VL2 is different than VL and a small drop of volume VS2, where VS2 is different than Vs.Type: GrantFiled: August 23, 2012Date of Patent: August 12, 2014Assignee: Eastman Kodak CompanyInventors: Robert Link, James Lee Bello, Todd Russell Griffin

Patent number: 8784549Abstract: An aqueous inkjet ink set for use in continuous inkjet printing comprising at least one cyan ink, at least one yellow ink, at least one magenta ink, and at least one black ink, wherein each ink of the ink set comprises dispersed pigment particles and at least one surfactant selected to provide a 10-ms dynamic surface tension of less than 54 mN/m for each ink. The invention relates to continuous ink jet printing of aqueous pigmented ink compositions recycled from main ink supply reservoirs, employing a printer with drop ejectors and a drop deflector and non-printing drop catchers capable of returning unprinted ink to the fluid delivery systems following the capture of non-printing drops. The pigmented ink jet ink compositions provide for particularly suitable fluid properties on the drop catcher face that minimize printing defects that can occur during drop deflection during the printing of high dynamic range images at high speed.Type: GrantFiled: September 16, 2011Date of Patent: July 22, 2014Assignee: Eastman Kodak CompanyInventors: Alexandra DiLauro Bermel, Brian L Lindstrom, David John Nelson, Allan Francis Sowinski, David Louis Jeanmaire, Todd Russell Griffin
