  • Patent number: 9282839
Abstract: In one embodiment a hanger has two interlocking regions, each located at the lower corners of the hanger arms. The interlocking regions have a hole that extends at least part way through the body of the hanger and an extruded lip that extends beyond the body of the hanger at the interlocking region. In one embodiment the outer surface of the interlocking region is narrower than the upper hanging arms of the hanger and the outer edge of the extruded lip is substantially co-planar with the outer surface of the upper hanging arms. This allows the upper hanging arms to be in direct contact with each other when the two hangers are locked together, creating a smooth upper surface.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 24, 2015
Date of Patent: March 15, 2016

  • Publication number: 20150297696
Abstract: The invention encompasses therapeutic compositions including Globo H-KLH conjugates and/or therapeutic antibodies as well as methods of making and using the same to treat proliferative diseases such as cancer. The therapeutic conjugates include an antigen linked to a carrier. In particular the therapeutic conjugates include a Globo H moiety and a KLH moiety and/or a derivatized KLH moiety subunit optionally linked via a linker. The therapeutic compositions are in part envisaged to act as cancer vaccines for boosting the body's natural ability to protect itself, through the immune system from dangers posed by damaged or abnormal cells such as cancer cells. An effective immune response is one that reduces the severity of disease, including but not limited to, prevention of disease, delay in onset of disease, decreased severity of symptoms, decreased morbidity and delayed mortality.

  • Patent number: 8487867
Abstract: A behavior recognition system and method by combining an image and a speech are provided. The system includes a data analyzing module, a database, and a calculating module. A plurality of image-and-speech relation modules is stored in the database. Each image-and-speech relation module includes a feature extraction parameter and an image-and-speech relation parameter. The data analyzing module obtains a gesture image and a speech data corresponding to each other, and substitutes the gesture image and the speech data into each feature extraction parameter to generate image feature sequences and speech feature sequences. The data analyzing module uses each image-and-speech relation parameter to calculate image-and-speech status parameters.

  • Patent number: 5760727
Abstract: A method for synchronizing scanning speed and data transmission speed of a scanner to eliminate a traditional memory buffer is disclosed. The scanner is connected to a host computer and comprises a charge coupled device (CCD) for converting a line image reflected from a document to be scanned into an array of analog signals. The CCD comprises an analog memory array for storing the analog signals. The method comprises the following steps of:a) outputting an analog signal from the analog memory array;b) converting the analog signal to a digital signal and transmitting the digital signal to the host computer;c) waiting until the host computer acknowledges receiving of the digital signal; andd) repeating steps a) to c) until all the analog signals stored in the analog memory array are processed and transmitted to the host computer.
