Abstract: An image processing apparatus comprising: a test data generator that generates test data instead of actual data entered for executing a workflow consisting of a plurality of unit works, if an instruction is given to test the workflow; a test process executor that executes a test process by processing the generated test data according to parameters for executing the unit works; a test process suspender that suspends the test process if a trouble happens during the test process; a notifier that notifies a user of a trouble if it happens during the test process; a parameter modifier that is capable of modifying the parameters if the test process is suspended due to the trouble; and a test process resuming portion that resumes the test process after the parameters are modified.

Abstract: In a material output system, if it is determined that a meeting management server has stored therein meeting information in which an authenticated person is included in prospective participants in a meeting, in which an installation place of MFP that has performed authentication agrees with a meeting room where the meeting is held, and in which the present date and time is included in a meeting room reservation time, MFP is instructed to output a material saved in a location associated with the meeting information. If it is determined that such meeting information is not stored in the meeting management server, the material output system displays a screen to allow output of the material saved in the associated location, for at least one piece of meeting information in which the authenticated user is included in prospective participants in a meeting. Accordingly, the material can be promptly distributed to the participant in the meeting.

Abstract: An image forming system comprises an access control part, a storage part, an extraction part, and an acquisition part. The access control part determines whether to allow or prohibit access to a security image in which a password for access control is embedded. The storage part stores sharing member information which is information on sharing members who are users allowed to share the security image and a check image which is an image for check on the security image, being associated with each other. The extraction part for extracts the check image out of one or more images including the check image on the basis of a determination result on coidentity between the security image and each of the one or more images. The acquisition part acquires the sharing member information associated with the check image.

Abstract: The present invention is intended to reduce operation load of a responsible person corresponding to external address for transmission of an e-mail to the external address. In order to accomplish this, an e-mail transmission device transmits an e-mail based on an operation made by a user, comprising: a storage part for storing therein a destination address registration information in which a destination address of the e-mail, an address type information in which either of internal address or external address is registered as type of the destination address, and an address responsible for external address registered if the address type registered in the address type information is external address are associated with each other; and a transmission part for transmitting the e-mail to the destination address designated by the user from a plurality of destination addresses included in the destination address registration information.

Abstract: In order to enable setting of a reading condition from an external apparatus, an image reading apparatus includes a reading unit reading a document and outputting an image data in accordance with a given reading condition, a communication unit communicating with an external apparatus through a communication line, a user interface unit receiving an instruction input from a user, and a control unit controlling the reading unit, the communication unit and the user interface unit, and the control unit includes an associating portion associating, when a reading condition is received from the external apparatus through the communication unit, the received reading condition with a one-touch key provided at the user interface unit.

Abstract: The present invention provides an image formation apparatus that reconstructs and prints a document based on document data written in a markup language. The image formation apparatus arranges, by using browser software, text data included in the document data within a page of the document, and acquires image data from servers and arranges the image data within the page of the document. If the image formation apparatus fails to acquire one or more pieces of the image data, it judges whether each of the pieces of image data is important or not according to the attribute information of the image data. If judged negatively, the image formation apparatus executes printing of the document reconstructed based on the text data and/or the acquired pieces of image data. If judged affirmatively, the image formation apparatus cancels the printing of the reconstructed document.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus judges whether or not a close-range wireless communication with a portable terminal is enabled during a period until a printer completes printing out print data. Based on a result drawn from the judgment and a print operation status of the image forming apparatus itself, which is indicated until completion of printing out the print data, the image forming apparatus deletes the print data from the memory or keeps the print data recorded in the memory.

Further, an update date/time of the Web page is received at every predetermined time. If the Web page has been outputted to the user, the flag of the user is updated to “already-read”. Abstract: A job execution apparatus having the function of billing and refunding by electronic money, determines before job execution, an amount of money required for job execution, and bills before job execution, the determined amount of money to a payment medium having the payment function, which is set to a billing apparatus. And the job execution apparatus can transfer a refund to the payment medium set to the billing apparatus if a refund needs to be transferred. The job execution apparatus also can transfer a refund by a method other than the method of refunding to the payment medium by using the billing apparatus.

Abstract: Identification information pieces used for establishment of a connection between an image processing apparatus and a portable terminal are generated and also linked to the data process conditions registered in advance. The generated identification information pieces are displayed on a display in a style allowing users to understand their linkages to the process conditions. Among those displayed thereon, a specific identification information piece is entered on the portable terminal and transmitted to the image processing apparatus, according to user instruction.
