  • Patent number: 11925854
Abstract: Provided is an information processing apparatus that is to be connected to a controller apparatus including a push-button, a force sense presentation section, and the push-button. The push-button moves between a first position and a second position when depressed by a finger of a user. The force sense presentation section presents a force sense to the push-button. The information processing apparatus determines, according to a prescribed force sense setting, the aspect of a force sense to be imparted to the push-button, and controls the force sense presentation section of the controller apparatus, according to the determination. Each time a predefined operation is performed, the information processing apparatus changes the force sense setting from a current force sense setting to a different force sense setting.

  • Patent number: 10284658
Abstract: A management server includes: a memory; a communication interface coupled to a plurality of servers having a server processor and a non-volatile memory; and a management processor coupled to the memory and the communication interface. Data is written to the non-volatile memory by the server processor in accordance with startup of a program. The memory is configured to store a limit value of a cumulative write amount of the non-volatile memory. The management processor receives a cumulative write amount of the non-volatile memory from each of the plurality of servers and calculates, when a startup request for requesting startup of a first program is received, an evaluation value of the non-volatile memory in each server based on the limit value and the cumulative write amount, selects one startup server based on the evaluation values, and transmits an execution request for requesting startup of the first program to the startup server.

  • Publication number: 20180067780
Abstract: A server storage system comprises a plurality of server resources and a plurality of storage resources. A management system stores allocation control information. The allocation control information represents correspondences among resource types and resource quantities of exclusively allocated server resources and storage resources, resource types and resource quantities of commonly allocated server resources and storage resources, and virtual server load characteristics which are characteristics of virtual server loads. The management system accepts a virtual server creation instruction which is associated with one or more types of load characteristic information which is inputted by a manager and which relates to virtual server load characteristics, and on the basis of the allocation control information and the one or more types of load characteristic information, selects the exclusively allocated server resources and storage resources.
