  • Publication number: 20080070134
Abstract: The invention provides an electrophotographic photoreceptor having a cylindrical support, and a charge-generating layer and a charge-transporting layer on or above the cylindrical support, wherein the thickness of the charge-generating layer is increased from the central portion in the axial direction of the cylindrical support towards both end portions thereof, and the difference in thickness between the two end portions is 2.5% or less of an average thickness of the charge-generating layer. Also disclosed are a method of producing the electrophotographic photoreceptor, a process cartridge including the electrophotographic photoreceptor, and an image-forming apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20080070135
Abstract: The invention provides an electrophotographic photoreceptor that includes a cylindrical support, and a charge-generating layer and a charge-transporting layer on the cylindrical support, wherein a content per unit volume of a charge-generating material in the charge-generating layer increases from a center portion in an axial direction of the cylindrical support towards both end portions thereof, and a thickness of the charge-generating layer in an axial direction of the cylindrical support is 95% or more and 105% or less relative to an average thickness of the charge-generating layer.
