Patent number: 6182508Abstract: An angular rate sensor is provided which measures the angular rate of a moving object such as an automotive vehicle. The angular rate sensor includes an installation base and an oscillator. The oscillator is excited to oscillate in a preselected direction perpendicular to an axis of rotation of the moving object and provides a signal indicative thereof. The installation base is used for installation of the sensor on the moving object and has an improved orientation structure for orienting the oscillator relative to the installation base during installation of the oscillator on the installation base so that the oscillator may oscillate in the preselected direction. The angular rate sensor is disposed within a casing through improved vibration isolators for absorbing unwanted vibrations impinging upon an operation of the sensor.Type: GrantFiled: December 17, 1997Date of Patent: February 6, 2001Assignee: Denso CorporationInventors: Yoshinobu Takeuchi, Satoshi Hayashi, Takehiro Watarai, Shinro Oda, Junji Moriwaki, Tomoyuki Kanda, Katuhide Akimoto

Patent number: 6111670Abstract: A hologram of an increased size using a single color laser, capable of executing a full color regeneration in a desired view angle and a method for producing the hologram. A plurality of photo-sensitive members are independently exposed to obtain respective holograms, which are connected by using an adhesive layer 80 constructing a connecting means, in order to obtain an integrated hologram expanded in two-dimensional direction. The holograms are obtained by an interference of a reference light 22 and an object light passed through a light diffusing body 24 in order to cause the light diffusing body 24 to be recorded on the photo-sensitive member. The size of the light diffusing body 24 is such that the spectral characteristic of the diffused light from the hologram can attain a desired efficiency at least over the entire wavelength range of the visible light.Type: GrantFiled: December 19, 1997Date of Patent: August 29, 2000Assignee: Denso CorporationInventors: Hidekazu Hattori, Kenichiro Takada, Katsuyoshi Nishii, Tooru Matsumoto, Tomoyuki Kanda

Patent number: 5787910Abstract: A washing apparatus is compact as well as easy to handle, with which a user can wash down dirt effectively in a short time. Washing liquid supplied from the washing liquid supplying means is made in the form of high-speed jet liquid by a high-speed jet stream spouting means. The high-speed jet liquid is spouted from the aperture of the first cover to wash down dirt by the impact given by the high-speed jet liquid. A washing object is dewatered by gas spouted from the aperture by a blowing means. The high-speed jet stream spouting means is comprised of a rotating object having a plurality of radial shape flow paths extending from a center portion to a circumference of the rotating object, and a liquid supplying portion for supplying washing liquid to a central portion of the radial shape flow paths. A rotating means rotates the rotating object so that washing liquid supplied in the radial shape flow paths is accelerated in the direction of a circumference as well as a radius of the rotating object by rotation.Type: GrantFiled: May 24, 1996Date of Patent: August 4, 1998Assignee: Mitsubishi Denki Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Masao Oda, Michio Fujiwara, Tomoyuki Kanda, Hideho Taguchi, Yasunori Kurahashi, Takao Morisaki, Takasuke Umemoto, Takayuki Inoue, Fusako Tanaka

Patent number: 5403989Abstract: In a color cathode-ray tube, only a foreign matter adhering to a shadow mask is removed effectively without thermal deformation of the shadow mask or thermal denaturation of phosphors. An electron beam produced by an electron gun incorporated in a cathode-ray tube itself is scanned or irradiated to all over a shadow mask of the color cathode-ray tube. The radiant state of a fluorescent screen at this stage is checked to detect a foreign matter adhering to the shadow mask. The electron beam is deflected to align with the position at which the foreign matter is detected, and then irradiated to the foreign matter in the form of pulses. Thus, the foreign matter is heated and removed.Type: GrantFiled: March 24, 1993Date of Patent: April 4, 1995Assignee: Mitsubishi Denki Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Hiroaki Tobuse, Tomoyuki Kanda, Yasusi Hisaoka, Shigeo Sasaki, Minoru Kobayashi, Takuji Oda, Ryuji Ueda, Akio Yoshida, Tadayoshi Owaki, Akihiko Yamasaki, Masaaki Kinoshita, Toshiaki Fukunishi
