  • Publication number: 20240151557
Abstract: A sensor system (200) that includes a flexible substrate (502), a plurality of first sensing lines (504-X), and a plurality of second sensing lines (510-X) is disclosed. The flexible substrate has a first surface (506) and an opposite, second surface (508). The plurality of first sensing lines are substantially parallel and are spaced apart in the lateral direction, wherein each of the plurality of first sensing lines is coupled to the first surface of the flexible substrate. At least a portion of each of the plurality of second sensing lines is exposed on the first surface and at least a second portion of each of the plurality of second sensing lines is exposed on the second surface. The sensor system further detects, based on signals from the plurality of first sensing lines and the plurality of second sensing lines, that a user has made a swipe gesture along the first surface in the longitudinal direction.

  • Publication number: 20240111824
Abstract: A circuit arrangement includes an array of switches that represent a Boolean satisfiability expression that has a plurality of clauses each defined by a combination of Boolean variables Xi or ¬Xi, a first plane, and a constraints network operatively arranged with the first plane. The constraints network enforces each of the clauses such that values of different ones of the variables continue to randomly or pseudo randomly flip until the values of the variables Xi and ¬Xi stop changing or a predetermined condition occurs.

  • Publication number: 20220208484
Abstract: Changing a lighting mode for a human interface device is described herein. A first lighting mode can be initiated for a human interface device. Keys on the human interface device can be selected over a period of time at a frequency that is within a defined range. A second lighting mode for the human interface device can be identified based in part on the frequency being within the defined range. The first lighting mode and the second lighting mode can define a lighting scheme for light sources in the human interface device that reflect a user mood. The first lighting mode can be switched to the second lighting mode.

  • Patent number: 8317707
Abstract: In one embodiment of the invention, there is an ultrasound processing system that communicates images over a single asynchronous serial channel according to a scheme that does not require an isochronous serial channel and that switches among ultrasound imaging modes robustly. For example, the system is configured to packetize ultrasound image data of at least one ultrasound imaging mode into a stream of data frames and to convey the stream of data frames via the asynchronous channel. Each data frame includes indication of the ultrasound imaging mode and includes ultrasound-imaging-mode-specific imaging parameters. Other embodiments exist.

  • Publication number: 20120248110
Abstract: An airtight container includes a jar, a cover, a sealing ring and a check valve. The cover includes an opening defined therein. The sealing ring is used to block a gap between the cover and the jar when the cover is located on the jar. The check valve includes a plug and a ball. The plug is fit in the opening and made with a chamber and a tunnel in communication with the chamber. The ball is used to contact the wall of the chamber when air tends to enter the jar via the check valve. The ball can however be lifted from the wall of the chamber by air leaving the jar.
