  • Patent number: 7771355
Abstract: In one embodiment of the invention, there is an ultrasound processing system that communicates images over a single asynchronous serial channel according to a scheme that does not require an isochronous serial channel and that switches among ultrasound imaging modes robustly. For example, the system is configured to packetize ultrasound image data of at least one ultrasound imaging mode into a stream of data frames and to convey the stream of data frames via the asynchronous channel. Each data frame includes indication of the ultrasound imaging mode and includes ultrasound-imaging-mode-specific imaging parameters. Other embodiments exist.

  • Publication number: 20100084396
Abstract: An airtight container is provided with a venting apparatus. The venting apparatus includes a flexible housing unit and a check valve disposed in the housing unit. The flexible housing unit includes a chamber defined therein, an upper aperture in communication with the chamber, a lower aperture in communication with the chamber and an external annular groove defined in the periphery for receiving an edge of an aperture defined in an airtight container. The check valve prevents air from entering the airtight container through the upper and lower apertures sequentially but allows air to leave the airtight container through the lower and upper apertures sequentially.

  • Publication number: 20070083110
Abstract: An ultrasonic image scanning system for scanning an organic object includes a beam former that provides a phase velocity adjustment function for producing an ultrasonic image with a programmable phase velocity. The ultrasonic image scanning system further includes a beam profile analysis function for calculating an optimal phase velocity with a user controller to adjust the phase velocity until a scan image of best image quality is achieved. Alternately, the system may provide an automatic phase velocity-scanning controller for automatically scanning through a range of phase velocities and selecting a best phase velocity generating a scanning image of a best quality. The system further includes a region of interest (ROI) controller for a user to select a region for scanning with a specific focal area for optimizing the phase velocity. The system may further provide a maximum gradient analyzer for selecting an image of a best quality in optimizing the phase velocity.

  • Publication number: 20060111634
Abstract: An ultrasonic image scanning system for scanning an organic object that includes a display system for displaying a scanned image of the organic object in a plurality of display modes wherein the display system further includes a user input device sensor for sensing a motion of a user input device in at least one of display modes to automatically switch from one display mode to a different display mode. Furthermore, the display system further counts a length of time the user input device staying idle in at least one of the display modes for switching the display mode back to a last display mode at a predefined idle time limit.

  • Publication number: 20030169208
Abstract: An improved positioning structure of an inner coil for an antenna, wherein: an inner coil with a predetermined length and shape of the antenna is provided on the bottom thereof with a metallic receiving seat for placing in a die to be injected therein plastic material. The inner coil and the injection material have a downwardly extending shaping hole with a predetermined depth provided at the center of a top surface on the top thereof, in order to prevent the inner coil from deformation by injecting the plastic material in the die during injection shaping. The metallic receiving seat is further provided on the bottom thereof with an axial hole which is convenient for taking the product out of the die in a stable state in mass production.

  • Patent number: 6603433
Abstract: A positioning structure of an inner and an outer insulation sleeve member for an antenna, the sleeve members are an outer insulation sleeve and an inner insulation connecting rod insertion connecting with each other to form the main housing of the antenna, wherein, the inner connecting rod has thereon an upper and a lower protruding rib in corresponding respectively to an upper and a lower inner annular recess provided on the outer sleeve. The lower inner annular recess and the lower protruding rib had better be both in a truncated conical shape flared downwardly to form an abutting shoulder to help guiding for insertion connecting and to prevent slipping off of them by an axial pulling force. The inner connecting rod has thereon notches corresponding in position to the pending tongs on the top of the outer sleeve; and the inner and the outer sleeve members can synchronically be positioned in the peripheral direction.
