    Abstract: A radio base station (RBS) and a method performed by an RBS for scheduling uplink resources to at least one UE are provided. The RBS comprises at least two receiving antenna branches and the RBS is operable in a radio communication network. The method comprises receiving transmissions from the at least one UE by means of the at least two receiving antenna branches; and determining at least one parameter relating to signal quality of the received transmissions. The method further comprises determining a diversity gain of the at least two receiving antenna branches, wherein the diversity gain is determined based on the determined parameter(s); and scheduling uplink transmissions for the at least one UE based on the determined diversity gain.

    Abstract: The present disclosure concerns interference congestion control in radio communication networks. Disclosed herein are methods as well radio network nodes. A radio network node may, for example, estimate a neighboring cell interference. The radio network node may also detect a sudden significant increase in the estimated neighboring cell interference. In response to detecting a sudden significant in the estimated neighboring cell interference, the radio network node may also transmit a message to at least one other radio network node. This message may include an indicator indicating to said at least one radio network node to initiate an interference congestion control procedure. Hereby it is made possible to allow for interference congestion control in radio communication networks.

The base station node has an internal multi-sector structure that is hidden from the rest of the system. The hidden sector information has sector information of the multi-sector structure is only internally available in the base station node. Enhanced cell-ID measurements associated with a first user equipment communicating with the base station are obtained, and formatted into information elements of a measurement report, each such information element having a plurality of symbols. Subsequently, hidden sector information for the first user equipment is retrieved and has an indication of an antenna sector of the base station in which the first user equipment is located. The retrieved dormant/latent sector information uses at least one selected symbol of the plurality of symbols of the measurement report to provide a transformed measurement report.
