  • Patent number: 6856278
Abstract: A radar performs accurate and appropriate pairing even if peaks of approximately identical signal intensities or even if a plurality of peak groups having identical representative beam bearings exist in the frequency spectrum. First, the peak frequency of a peak which appears in the frequency spectrum is determined for each of an up-modulating interval and a down-modulating interval in predetermined beam bearings, and signal-intensity profiles in the beam bearings are extracted with regard to a plurality of beam portions which are adjacent to the beam bearings. Next, the correlation level between the signal-intensity profiles at the up-modulating interval and the down-modulating interval is determined, and pairing is performed in sequence starting from the profiles having a higher correlation level.

  • Publication number: 20040207423
Abstract: An electrical inspection apparatus performs highly accurate electrical inspection using an inspection probe on any type of printed board without changing an instrument therefor. It comprises a reference position regulating member for positioning the printed board precisely at a predetermined reference position and a pressing member for pressing the printed board oppositely to the reference position regulating member. An inspected portion (e.g., a contact) of the printed board is fixed under tension and is precisely located at the reference position in planar condition by being contacted and positioned by the reference position regulating member, whereby it is subjected to electrical inspection using the inspection probe accompanied with the reference position regulating member and/or the pressing member. Thus, it is possible to prevent the inspection probe from being unexpectedly damaged or destroyed by excessive force that is produced due to inaccurate positioning therefor.

  • Publication number: 20040195258
Abstract: A screening apparatus comprises a discharge chute, a transport table, a screening table, and at least one air exhaust device, so that it realizes screening of works that are completed in inspection by an inspection apparatus. A plurality of work holding spaces are arranged at prescribed pitches therebetween in a circumferential direction of the transport table, wherein a leap inhibiting wall for inhibiting the work from leaping outside is arranged between the discharge chute and the work holding space. As the transport table rotates, the works sequentially transported via the discharge chute are forced to automatically fall into the work holding spaces independently. Then, as the screening table rotates, it receives the works from the transport table so as to discharge them into the corresponding boxes by means of the air exhaust device in response to inspection results thereof.

  • Patent number: 6795012
Abstract: In a radar, a coupler extracts a part of a transmission signal as a local signal and a mixer mixes a reception signal from a circulator and the local signal so as to output an intermediate frequency signal which is the frequency difference between the transmission signal and the reception signal. An IF-amplifying circuit amplifies the intermediate frequency signal and an AD converter converts the signal to digital data. A DC-removing unit removes a DC component by subtracting the average from the data and an FFT operation unit performs fast Fourier transform so that the distance to a target and the relative velocity of the target are calculated based on a peak included in the frequency spectrum.

  • Publication number: 20040178946
Abstract: A high-frequency oscillation apparatus wherein an oscillation signal output from a voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) is transferred through a transfer line to a resonator and the resonator is excited. The resonator is coupled with a second transfer line and an RF signal having a level corresponding to the frequency of the oscillation signal is transferred through the second transfer line. When the resonant frequency of the resonator is set to a frequency higher than the oscillation-frequency modulation range of the VCO, the oscillation frequency and the RF-signal level have one-to-one correspondence. A detector detects the RF signal and outputs to a control section. The control section compensates a control voltage signal applied to the VCO according to the detected-signal level, and outputs the control voltage signal to the VCO to compensate the oscillation signal of the VCO.
