  • Publication number: 20070122323
Abstract: A vapor growth device which is constituted as a single-wafer type and has a gas introducing port through which a material gas is led into a reaction vessel. A dam member is disposed around a susceptor, and the material gas from the gas introducing port hits the outer peripheral surface of the dam ring and rides on an upper surface side, and then is allowed to flow along the main surface of a silicon single-crystal substrate placed on the susceptor. Guide plates for dividing the flow in the width direction of the material gas are disposed on the upper surface of the dam member. Accordingly, a vapor growth device capable of controlling the flow rate of material gas flowing on a silicon single-crystal substrate, and a production method for an epitaxial wafer using it are provided.

  • Publication number: 20070107653
Abstract: Material gas hits the outer peripheral surface of a dam member and rides on the upper surface side, and then is allowed to flow along the main surface of a silicon single-crystal substrate placed on a susceptor. An upper lining member is disposed above the dam member so as to face the dam member. A gas introducing clearance is formed between the dam member and the upper lining member. In a vapor growth device, the upper lining member is regulated in size so that the length, formed in a direction along the horizontal reference line, of the gas introducing clearance gradually decreases as it is away from the horizontal reference line or is kept constant at any position. A vapor growth device capable of making more uniform the flowing route of a material gas flowing on the silicon single-crystal substrate, and a production method for an epitaxial wafer are provided.

  • Patent number: 7203236
Abstract: A moving picture reproducing device includes a compressed data buffer, a display size obtaining unit, a resolution selecting unit, four kinds of resolution decoding units, and a frame data buffer. Compressed moving picture is received by the compressed data buffer and decoded in one of the four kinds of resolution decoding units. The display size obtaining unit obtains a display size of the decoded moving picture when the image is displayed on a display device. The resolution selecting unit selects one resolution decoding unit from the four kinds of resolution decoding units, according to the display size obtained by the display size obtaining unit. When the moving picture is reduced and displayed on the display device, it is not required to decode the moving picture in an original resolution. The moving picture reproducing device decodes the compressed moving picture in a necessary and the minimum resolution.

  • Patent number: 7116188
Abstract: A laminated dielectric filter is formed by coupling a plurality of resonators to one another by electromagnetic-field coupling. In the laminated dielectric filter, a bypass circuit formed of a series circuit including bypass capacitors and transmission lines is provided in parallel to a magnetic-field bypass coupling between non-adjacent resonators. Thus, capacitance of the bypass capacitors can be regulated without being affected by the magnetic-field bypass coupling between the non-adjacent resonators. As a result, attenuation poles outside a passband can be controlled freely.

  • Patent number: 7050494
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for displaying picture frames using single field data in interlaced encoded image data having a two-field structure. This method comprises the steps of: performing inverse quantization of the interlaced encoded image data to obtain DCT (Discrete Cosine Transform) coefficients of each of the field blocks; selecting one of two fields forming each picture frame; adding zero values after the DCT coefficients of each of field block in the selected field in order to obtain compensated DCT coefficients having a data size corresponding to one frame block; and performing inverse DCT of the compensated DCT coefficients to obtain image data for each frame block. According to this method, there is no time-lag between the odd and even numbered scanning lines in the reproduced picture frames, and the dynamic images are clear even if the motion of the images is fast.
