Abstract: An image-forming material comprising: (a) microcapsules, in which at least one leuco dye capable of developing a color by oxidation and at least one photooxidizing agent (preferably a combination of a lophine dimer and an organic halogeno-compound) are enclosed together, and (b) at least one reducing agent not enclosed in the microcapsules (preferably present in the form of an emulsified dispersion), thereby achieving image formation in a completely dried condition, and ensuring excellent freshness keeping property, image reproducibility and fixability.
Abstract: This invention discloses a heat sensitive recording material having a heat sensitive layer on a support; either of a color forming material or a developer which are contained in the heat sensitive layer is encased in a microcapsule. Since a plasticizer for a wall material of the microcapsule and a compound having an effect to depress the melting point of at least one member out of developers, a color forming reaction is carried out smoothly under a recording condition, therefore, a density of an obtained image is sufficient. Especially good results are obtained when a macromolecule substance selected from a group of polyurethane, polyurea, polyamide, polyester and polycarbonate is used as a wall material of the microcapsule. A coloring reaction assistant may be contained in any place of the heat sensitive layer.A preferable plasticizer can be selected from a group of phenols, alcohols, ureas, sulfonamides, carbamates and aromatic methoxy compounds.
Abstract: An encoding method for facsimile signal which is characterized by encoding data of a line selected out of the all lines of input facsimile signals in a manner of skipping over a predetermined number of lines according to a predetermined encoding method and by encoding the data of one of the thus skipped-over lines from a basic element of higher picture quality contribution judged with reference made to the data of the lines preceding of and/or subsequent to the encoding line which have already been encoded.
Abstract: A coding method for a multilevel-gradated picture signal is disclosed, in that a series of binary codes obtained by processing a multilevel-gradated original picture signal for binary representation are segmented every predetermined number n of picture elements on each scanning line to form blocks, respectively capable of assuming value "0" to "2n-1"; and the value of a block having changed its value and its position on the scanning line are encoded so as to be reproduced on the reproducing side.
Abstract: A window molding for an automobile including a leg embedded in an adhesive for fixing a peripheral edge of a window to a flange of a window opening, according to the invention comprises a lip extending from an inner surface of a head of the molding and joined to an inner peripheral wall of the window opening to inhibit any relative movement between the molding and panels of a vehicle body, thereby preventing any entrance of fine particles such as fine sand and dust therebetween to prevent coating films of the vehicle body from being damaged and any occurrence of rust in the proximity of the window opening.
