  • Publication number: 20070146193
Abstract: A remote control device of the present invention is equipped with a plurality of direction keys corresponding to a plurality of switches equally divided in a main body portion of the device. Moreover, in a case where the respective direction keys are individually operated, data in response to the operated direction key is transmitted from a light emitting section. In a case where one of the plurality of direction keys is operated simultaneously with one direction key adjacent to the direction key, data corresponding to a direction key disposed between the direction keys is transmitted.

  • Publication number: 20070147792
Abstract: According to one embodiment of this invention includes a disc drive section which reads compressed video information and management information from a recording medium. The management information contains resolution information obtained when the compressed video information is decoded. Digital-to-analog converters subjects the video information decoded by the decoder sections to digital-to-analog conversion. A management information determining section contains a resolution determining section which determines resolution of the decoded video information with reference to management information. A decode mode setting section sets the decoder sections and digital-to-analog converters into a processing mode suitable for the resolution based on the determination result of the resolution determining section.

  • Publication number: 20070139215
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a remote control device of the present invention has an input section constituted of a plurality of button groups, a direction key, a determine button and the like, and has a function of a backlight to allow a main body to emit light for a first predetermined time from an operation time. Moreover, from a time when a cell is turned on until a first operation is performed by the input section, a microcomputer stops lighting of the backlight.

  • Patent number: 7126086
Abstract: A soldering iron is configured to heat its tip and emit inert gas near the tip. This is accomplished by providing a heater cartridge having a heater pipe with a tip portion and a base portion. The heater pipe has a first hole in the tip portion and a second hole at the base portion. The heater pipe has a passage between the first and second holes so that gas can enter through the second hole and exit through the first hole. The heater cartridge has a grip handle between the tip and base portions of the heater pipe. The soldering iron has a handle base with a cavity adapted to receive the base portion of the heater pipe and at least a portion of the grip handle. The handle base is adapted to provide power and gas to the base portion of the heater pipe. The heater pipe transfers the power and gas from the base portion to the tip portion to heat the tip and emit gas near the tip.

  • Publication number: 20050218197
Abstract: This invention provides a system capable of melting solder and removing the melted solder from a substrate. The heating system includes a desoldering tool having at least two handles, a first handle and a second handle. This way, an operator may grip the first handle or the second handle depending on the operator's preference of gripping the desoldering tool. The first handle has a cavity adapted to releaseably receive a storage where the melted solder can be deposited and stored. The storage may have a divot adapted to receive a key from the first handle so that the storage may be orientated in a predetermined position relative to the cavity. The cavity in the first handle is exposed so that the storage can be readily inserted or replaced. This allows the operator to easily replace and maintain the desoldering tool without a significant downtime.

  • Publication number: 20050028211
Abstract: A digital data output circuit generates video and audio data. An HDMI LSI generates transmission video and audio data by alternately arranging the video data and audio data generated from the digital data output circuit. An LSI control portion outputs a data switching signal which is used to switch the transmission video and audio data. Further, the HDMI LSI selects and transmits one or both of the generated video and audio data in accordance with the data switching signal from the LSI control portion.
