  • Patent number: 8325083
Abstract: According to one embodiment, an radar apparatus includes a signal processor, a transmitting unit, an antenna, a first receiving unit, and a second receiving unit. The signal processor generates first or second pulses, and generates a control signal having first or second states. The transmitting unit converts the first and second pulses into first and second transmission pulses. The antenna radiates the first and second transmission pulses and receives reflection pulses to generate a reception signal. The first receiving unit includes first and second receiving circuits which processes the reception signal to generate first and second processed signals, respectively, and outputs one of the first and second processed signals depending on the state of the control signal. The second receiving unit processes the one of the first and second processed signals.

  • Patent number: 7462827
Abstract: By using an image signal acquired by picking up a sample to be inspected by a color video camera, penetrant inspection and magnetic-particle inspection which are non-destructive inspections are carried out so that deficiency candidates including a pseudo deficiency are automatically detected and are displayed on a screen. A real deficiency can be detected from the deficiency candidates displayed on the screen. As image data is stored in memory means, information of a deficiency can be repeatedly reproduced on the screen. In the penetrant inspection, the chromaticity at each position on an image is acquired, a deficiency candidate is extracted based on the chrominance, and the deficiency is distinguished from a pseudo deficiency based on the differential value of the chrominance.

  • Publication number: 20050071878
Abstract: A cradle receives RF signals, performs level control of the RF signals, and emits the RF signals to a main-body unit installed to the cradle. When the main-body unit is installed, the cradle receives a video signal from the main-body unit, applies signal processing to the video signal, and then outputs it. Concurrently, the cradle outputs power-supply power to the main-body unit. Further, the cradle performs level control of the received RF signals to a first level when the main-body unit is installed, and performs level control of the received RF signals to a second level higher than the first level when the main-body unit is not installed.

  • Patent number: 6831995
Abstract: In image-capture inspection of electronic displays, the object of the present invention is to reduce moire generation, improve inspection precision by making pixel defects easier to discover, and allowing quantitative evaluation of these pixel defects. The relative positioning of the electronic display and an imaging element is changed by very small amounts of 1/n of the pixel pitch. The n images are arranged by pixel and the images are combined by taking the moving average of the image data values to reduce the image-capture moires generated during the image capture operations. The composite image is used to inspect pixel defects in the electronic display.
