Abstract: A display device is provided, decreasing the influence of reflected incident/ambient light caused by patterned bus lines therein, wherein a backlight is disposed at a back side of a substrate comprising common electrodes and color filters, and images are viewed at a side of another substrate comprising pixel electrodes and thin film transistors. A layer (low-reflection layer) with an optical reflectivity lower than that of bus lines, is disposed in a buffer film formed between a viewing side of a glass substrate and an insulating film where the bus lines 4a are disposed. The low-reflection layer is patterned with the same shape as those of the bus lines and covers the bus lines. The incident/ambient light via the glass substrate is shielded by the low-reflection layer and does not arrive at the bus lines.

Abstract: An object of the invention is to provide electrostatic discharge damage protection during manufacturing and to suppress power consumption as low as possible during ordinary use of the electronic device having been manufactured, with avoidance of the problem of electric corrosion. An electronic device 10 comprising an array of pixels 12 wherein row and column address lines 18, 20 for addressing each pixel 12 are arranged. Each address line is connected to a discharge line 30, 32 through a discharge 38. The circuit allows the passage of charge between the address line and the first discharge line 30 when the address line is at a potential below that of the first discharge line, and allows the passage of charge between the address line and the second discharge line 32 when the address line is at a potential above that of the second discharge line.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a case formed with a front face and a top face, a first accommodating portion formed in the case, an imaging unit that forms an image on a recording medium; the imaging unit being accommodated in the first accommodating portion detachably, and a front cover provided at the front face, the front cover being movable between a first position to open the accommodating portion and a second position to close the accommodating portion, the imaging unit being attached to and removed from the accommodating portion when the front cover is at the first position. The front cover is formed with a round portion.

Abstract: In a color liquid crystal display device, pixel electrodes are partially overlap with source electrodes and polarity inversions are carried out to any adjacent pair of unit columns of the pixels or any adjacent pair of unit pixels along the row direction, to eliminate adversely effect of crosstalk.
