  • Publication number: 20150128294
Abstract: A system in which a communication apparatus and first and second information processing apparatuses are communicably connected, comprises a comparison unit which compares a first disclosure range set in the first information processing apparatus with a second disclosure range set in the second information processing apparatus, and a notification unit which sends a notification to the communication apparatus. The information processing apparatuses distributes the content to a third-party terminal included in a disclosure range decided based on the result of the comparison.

  • Publication number: 20130335924
Abstract: Different board-type devices can be selectably attached to a device attachment slot of a display apparatus. A first board-type device has a depth corresponding to the device main body thereof. A first female connector of the first board-type device inserted to the device attachment slot is connected to a first male connector of the apparatus. In a second board-type device having a shape different from the first board-type device, the device main body thereof is connected to a connector via two adaptor boards having a step therebetween. Accordingly, in the second board-type device, even the device main body, which has a smaller depth than the chassis whose depth coincides with that of the first board-type device, and can be selectably attached to the device attachment slot with respect to the first board-type.

  • Patent number: 8605179
Abstract: An image pickup apparatus in which, a taking lens is installable or fixed, includes an image pickup element in which, pixels having a photoelectric conversion portion are arranged two dimensionally. The pixels include focal-point detection pixels which are arranged to restrict a direction of incidence of a light beam which is incident, and image-pickup pixels which are arranged such that, the direction of incidence of the light beam which is incident is not restricted more than the direction of incidence restricted by the focal-point detection pixel. The focal-point detection pixel outputs at least a signal for ranging, and the image-pickup pixel outputs at least a signal for an image. The image pickup apparatus includes an overflow judging section which judges whether or not the photoelectric conversion portion has overflowed, and a calculating section which calculates an amount of defocus based on a judgment result of the overflow judging section and the signal for ranging.

  • Patent number: 8403498
Abstract: A housing (17) that accommodates a light source (1), a display device (3), etc. has an intake aperture (18) and an exhaust aperture (24). A blowing unit (16, 23) sucks air in through the intake aperture and expels air out through the exhaust aperture. A filter unit (19) is disposed so that a filter (20) faces the intake aperture in a predetermined area between a rolling shaft (31a) and a take-up shaft (31b). A part of the filter facing the intake aperture is renewed by taking-up the filter from the rolling shaft onto the take-up shaft. A control unit (36) performs control so as to renew the filter for a range that is smaller than an opening area of the intake aperture, when a predetermined renewal condition is determined to be satisfied, based on the output of a detection unit (38, 39a, 39b) that detects a specific factor value relating to contamination of the filter, such as a cumulative display time, a temperature, an air pressure, etc.

  • Publication number: 20120254742
Abstract: The invention relates to an editing of a digital document containing an image, a text, a pattern and the like on pages constituting the digital document. In response to an operation for deleting an image positioned in a page, such image is not added to another page but is moved to and displayed in an evacuation area provided independently from the page area. In the evacuation area, such image is displayed together with a serial number of the page in which such image was present originally. Thus the page layout is not destructed in pages other than the page of image deletion, and the user can easily confirm later the image existed in such page.

  • Publication number: 20120239723
Abstract: A transmission device registers first cooperation information relating to cooperative processing in a cooperative control apparatus along with a transmission code relating to the cooperative processing, and notifies the transmission code to a response device. The response device thereby acquires the first cooperation information associated with the transmission code, and returns a reply code to the transmission device. The transmission device acquires second cooperation information associated with the reply code from the cooperative control apparatus, and, in the case where response device identification information included in the second cooperation information corresponds to the stored response device information, sets the response device as a device with which to perform cooperative processing.

  • Publication number: 20120239776
Abstract: In a data communication system including a reception side PC for receiving data, a transmission source PC for transmitting data, and a data transfer apparatus, the reception side PC notifies the transmission source PC of a reception ID as an identifier for specifying the reception side PC in data communication. Upon receiving a transmission notification containing the reception ID from the transmission source PC, the reception side PC requests a list of data corresponding to the transmission notification of the data transfer apparatus. The reception side PC requests, of the data transfer apparatus, acquisition target data based on the list of data transmitted from the data transfer apparatus in response to the request, and then acquires the data.

  • Patent number: 7475147
Abstract: This invention has as its object to improve the convenience of a client user when the client establishes communication connection to a server which can improve resources in session management. To this end, in an information processing method according to this invention, a client, which can request a predetermined process to a server via an application while communication connection with the server is established, identifies a field on a display, to which an operation has been made by an input device, generates a dummy request, which includes information required to maintain communication connection, or a request, which includes information required to maintain communication connection and a predetermined processing request, in accordance with the identified field, and transmits the generated request to the server. Even when a predetermined processing request is not made to the server, the client can maintain communications with the server if some operation is made.
