  • Publication number: 20070207275
Abstract: Methods for cleaning semiconductor processing chambers used to process carbon-containing films, such as amorphous carbon films, barrier films comprising silicon and carbon, and low dielectric constant films including silicon, oxygen, and carbon are provided. The methods include using a remote plasma source to generate reactive species that clean interior surfaces of a processing chamber in the absence of RF power in the chamber. The reactive species are generated from an oxygen-containing gas, such as O2, and/or a halogen-containing gas, such as NF3. An oxygen-based ashing process may also be used to remove carbon deposits from the interior surfaces of the chamber before the chamber is exposed to the reactive species from the remote plasma source.

  • Publication number: 20050241997
Abstract: Reactive phosphorus species can be removed or transferred from a hydrocarbon phase to a water phase in an emulsion breaking process by using a composition that contains water-soluble hydroxyacids. Suitable water-soluble hydroxy-acids include, but are not necessarily limited to glycolic acid, gluconic acid, C2-C4 alpha-hydroxy acids, poly-hydroxy carboxylic acids, thioglycolic acid, chloroacetic acid, polymeric forms of the above hydroxyacids, poly-glycolic esters, glycolate ethers, and ammonium salt and alkali metal salts of these hydroxyacids, and mixtures thereof. The composition may optionally include a mineral acid to reduce the pH of the desalter wash water. A solvent may be optionally included in the composition. The invention permits transfer of reactive phosphorus species into the aqueous phase with little or no hydrocarbon phase undercarry into the aqueous phase. The composition is particularly useful in treating crude oil emulsions, and in removing calcium and other metals therefrom.

  • Publication number: 20040162735
Abstract: A system and method for integrating multi-part documentation in a networked environment are provided. A port agent processing system obtains incoming shipment information and obtains a declaration identification number corresponding to each shipment from a central document processing system. The port agent processing system generates a short form declaration for the shipment corresponding to the declaration identification number. Thereafter, the central document processing system utilizes the declaration identification number to obtain additional shipment information and generate a supplemental declaration corresponding to the same shipment.

  • Publication number: 20010033641
Abstract: A voice messaging system and method are presented herein. A unique telephone number and extension are associated with each one of a plurality of subscribers. The telephone number is also associated with a remote access point of presence (RAPP). Messages are left for subscribers by establishing a phone call to the phone number associated therewith. The phone call is received with a RAPP. The RAPP receives the voice message, digitizes and packetizes the voice message, and transmits the message over a packet network to a store and forward messaging system. The store and forward messaging system stores the message for retrieval. The message can be retrieved by either telephone, a client computer, or a private branch exchange terminal.

  • Patent number: 4128772
Abstract: A tunable far infrared generator makes use of a four-photon mixing process that cycles among highly excited atomic states, the lowest of which states is reached from the atomic ground state by a visible or ultraviolet photon, and the remainder of which states are connected by transitions in the infrared.

  • Patent number: 4095122
Abstract: The invention relates to a high-power tunable infrared source employing a four-photon mixing process, with three input lasers, in which process the output power is resonantly enhanced by exciton states in the conversion medium.

  • Patent number: 4093344
Abstract: An optical polarization rotator is developed for use with infrared radiation using a nonlinear, two-photon interaction in a solid medium. The mechanism employed is resonance dispersion, where the sum frequency of an infrared beam to be rotated and a visible control beam is close to the frequency of a two-photon transition of exciton states, thereby producing different amounts of dispersion for the two orthogonal components of the linearly polarized infrared beam. The result of a phase difference between the two components is a rotation of the plane of polarization of the infrared beam.
