An integrated solar heating means within the luminaire of the sign, and a means for timing the release of the stored heat to the fluorescent bulbs is provided. The internal illumination means for the sign includes a flexible vinyl sign face stretched over a the sign cabinet's rigid frame over, in which the flexible vinyl sign face material has sewn hems on all edges with inserted rigid rods and tension springs extended through the hems and hooked to the rods. The invention also provides a control method for determining the run time for loads utilizing solar power.

The access terminal includes multiple virtual machines, which are each associated with a different security profile. The system further includes an access network that validates the virtual machines. The access network also assigns security procedures for use with the various virtual machines by referencing their associated security profiles. The system further includes a core network. The core network also enforces the various security profiles, and references the profiles in the selection of services used in the handling of communications from the virtual machines.

Abstract: A method of controlling a machine drive having a driveline PTO establishes a driveline torque perturbation via conversion of internal inertia through two transmission neutral conditions. In an example, when a request is received, e.g., from an operator, to shift the driveline PTO from a first mode to a second mode, the transmission is automatically modulated between its first neutral condition and its second neutral condition while the driveline PTO is shifted from the first mode to the second mode, thus minimizing torque lock and facilitating mode changes.

Abstract: A process and expert system for presenting an expert analysis of collected forensic DNA evidence in a form more suitable for human analysis is provided. The expert system accepts as input electronic forensic DNA data output of a conventional genetic analysis program, and automates the interpretation of such data according to accepted forensic DNA evidence standards. The resulting output of the expert system is the forensic DNA data and analysis summaries which are presented in a format useable to aid interpretation by both expert and non-expert humans, such as, for example, police officers, attorneys, judges, and juries.
