  • Patent number: 6470324
Abstract: A dealer inventory management system is provided for recommending which types of vehicles a dealer should order from the automotive manufacturer. The computer-implemented system includes a vehicle sales data structure for storing vehicle sales information, a dealer data structure for storing dealer information, and a vehicle availability data structure for storing which vehicles are available to each dealer. A market determination module accesses the vehicle sales and dealer data structures to determine an ideal sales mix of vehicles for each dealer based upon a sampling of vehicle sales made in the dealer's local market. A dealer assessment module then accesses the vehicle availability data structure to formulate a recommended order for each dealer by comparing the dealer's ideal sales mix to the mix of vehicles available to that dealer.

  • Patent number: 6454660
Abstract: The invention provides a golf aid (10) comprising a rectangular tubular frame (11) having a horizontal cross bar (12) which is suitably supported at each end on the remainder of the frame (11). The frame (11) is provided with a support frame, in the from of vertical legs (14) at an angle to the frame (11) and having rearwardly extending feet (16) which imparts stability to the golf aid. Bracing struts (18) extend between the vertical legs and the horizontal feet (16). Extending from the frame are protruding elements, in the form of horizontally protruding arms (38) protruding from the bar (12), and laterally and upwardly protruding arms (39) and (40) protruding from the frame (11). At the centre of the bar (12) there is a slot designated (20). The central part (22) of the slot (20) is relatively narrow when compared with the two tapered end sections of the slot (20) which end sections are designated (24).

  • Patent number: 5208294
Abstract: Hydrogenated nitrile rubber based vulcanizates which have at least one of improved load bearing capabilities, improved abrasion resistance and reduced heat build-up are provided, the vulcanizates having been produced by vulcanization of a compound consisting essentially of 100 parts by weight of hydrogenated nitrile rubber, 10 to 85 parts by weight of zinc diacrylate and 1 to 10 parts by weight of an organic peroxide. Such vulcanizates are useful in belts, rolls and hoses.

  • Patent number: 5051299
Abstract: The present invention relates to fiber-reinforced belts, such as timing belts or conveyor belts, which are manufactured from a hydrogenated nitrile rubber having oxazoline functionality. Thus, the hydrogenated nitrile rubber contains less than 10 mole percent carbon-carbon double bond unsaturation and a functional group which may be identified using infrared spectroscopy by a characteristic peak between 1552 cm.sup.-1 and 1668 cm.sup.-1. The present belts are further characterized by having excellent adhesion between the fiber reinforcement and the oxazoline functionalized hydrogenated nitrile rubber.
