  • Publication number: 20260307702
Abstract: A shopping cart includes a dual storage structure that defines an upper storage area and lower storage area of the shopping cart. The contents of both storage areas may be weighed by measuring the weight of the dual storage structure using load sensors. A shopping cart includes a camera coupled to its frame such that a lower storage area of the shopping cart is in the field of view of the camera. The shopping cart captures images of items in the storage area and applies an item-detection algorithm to portions of the image to detect items. A shopping cart includes a primary display and a secondary display. The shopping cart generates a primary user interface (UI) and generates a secondary UI based on content of the primary UI. Primary UI elements are included in the generated secondary UI based on sensor data of the shopping cart.

  • Publication number: 20260312350
Abstract: A shopping cart system includes a stackable charging system with an extendable charging connector that automatically extends and retracts based on stacking sensor data. The stackable charging system includes a male charging connector with charging pins that extend from a retracted position to an extended position to establish electrical contact with corresponding charging sockets of a female charging connector of another shopping cart. An actuator coupled to the male charging connector receives signals from an on-board computing system and controls the extension and retraction of the charging pins. The on-board computing system controls the extension and retraction based on data captured by a stacking sensor that detects whether shopping carts have stacked together. When stacking is detected, the computing system activates the actuator to extend the charging connector, and when disconnection is needed, the computing system retracts the charging connector to enable smooth cart separation.

  • Publication number: 20240189651
Abstract: A platform-based strength machine enables users to perform strength or lifting activities or exercises via moveable or configurable pull points. The strength machine can include tracks that facilitate the configuring of the positions of the pull points, handles that control operation of the strength machine and/or measure movements performed by a user, compact motors that facilitate various platform or load application configurations, safety systems for the strength machine, and other enhancements.
