  • Publication number: 20240406211
Abstract: Embodiments are related to determining if an unverified web page is a phishing site of a verified web page. In one or more embodiments, a computing server detects a style sheet element of an unverified web page accessed by a user using a web browser extension. The computing server checks if the detected style sheet element contains a copy of a part of a style sheet element present in the verified web page. If the style sheet element of the unverified web page contains a copy of the part of a style sheet element of the verified web page, indicating that the unverified web page is a phishing site, the computing server takes a security action. In some embodiments, the computing server may check if the unverified web page is a known web page.

  • Publication number: 20240404705
Abstract: Methods, non-transitory computer-readable media, and devices are disclosed that identify and validate a signature for predicting relative benefit of two therapies for frontline and therapy sequencing for patients. Described and illustrated by way of the example herein are machine learning approaches for gaining data-driven insights from the mutational landscape in metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma (mPDAC) and validating the signature in predicting relative benefit from FOLFIRINOX (FFX) and Gemcitabine/nab-Paclitaxel (GA) therapies. This technology inputs a patient's genomics findings and clinical data and generates predictions of relative effectiveness for the two distinct FFA and GA chemotherapy options. The predictions for an individual patient provide personalized guidance on treatment sequencing to improve patient health outcomes.

  • Patent number: 12155952
Abstract: A sample and hold readout system and method for ramp analog to digital conversion is presented in which an optical array is read out using a sample and hold circuit such that each sample is used to charge a sample and hold capacitor and is read out during a hold phase using an amplifier that drives an ramp analog to digital converter. The sample and hold circuit transitions to a tracking phase wherein the optical array input drives an amplifier that drives the sample and hold capacitor then transitions to a sample phase where the sample and hold capacitor is connected to the optical array output directly.

  • Patent number: 12147771
Abstract: System and methods for a text summarization system are described. In one example, a text summarization system receives an input utterance and determines whether the utterance should be included in a summary of the text. The text summarization system includes an embedding network, a convolution network, an encoding component, and a summary component. The embedding network generates a semantic embedding of an utterance. The convolution network generates a plurality of feature vectors based on the semantic embedding. The encoding component identifies a plurality of latent codes respectively corresponding to the plurality of feature vectors. The summary component identifies a prominent code among the latent codes and to select the utterance as a summary utterance based on the prominent code.

  • Patent number: 12143520
Abstract: A Quorum network comprising an access controlled multi-tenant network is provided that is configured to enable access control and state isolation in a multi-tenancy Ethereum-based distributed ledger system. The access-controlled network includes one or more authenticating servers (also referred to as access controls) for providing permission control to the nodes in the network. In a standard multi-tenant network, each user of an entity (also referred to as an organization) is limited to only transacting with (also referred to as accessing) their own authorized resources. The access-controlled network utilizes an access controller to provide a singular truth for a set of managed nodes through a trusted entity (such as a Network Authorization Server).

  • Publication number: 20240360721
Abstract: A drive system for raising and lowering a window covering using a continuous cord loop that includes a motor with an associated encoder, device controller for the motor, a speed sensor, and proportional-integral-derivative (PID) layer. The device controller stores or receives a desired motor speed and generates a speed command signal to the motor. A closed-loop system applies a PID speed control algorithm to an error representing a difference between actual motor speed and desired motor speed. The PID layer uses the error to calculate a new output via PID control terms to automatically correct signals to the motor to achieve desired motor speed. A hembar alignment function automates positional control of a plurality of motor drive systems to synchronize raising or lowering of window covering shades with the shades in positional alignment. A system controller includes a time-counter indexed to a position scale to synchronize hembar alignment positional commands.

  • Patent number: 12130850
Abstract: Techniques and systems are described for performing semantic text searches. A semantic text-searching solution uses a machine learning system (such as a deep learning system) to determine associations between the semantic meanings of words. These associations are not limited by the spelling, syntax, grammar, or even definition of words. Instead, the associations can be based on the context in which characters, words, and/or phrases are used in relation to one another. In response to detecting a request to locate text within an electronic document associated with a keyword, the semantic text-searching solution can return strings within the document that have matching and/or related semantic meanings or contexts, in addition to exact matches (e.g., string matches) within the document. The semantic text-searching solution can then output an indication of the matching strings.

  • Patent number: 12124382
Abstract: The disclosed embodiments relate to a computer system with a cache memory that supports tagless addressing. During operation, the system receives a request to perform a memory access, wherein the request includes a virtual address. In response to the request, the system performs an address-translation operation, which translates the virtual address into both a physical address and a cache address. Next, the system uses the physical address to access one or more levels of physically addressed cache memory, wherein accessing a given level of physically addressed cache memory involves performing a tag-checking operation based on the physical address. If the access to the one or more levels of physically addressed cache memory fails to hit on a cache line for the memory access, the system uses the cache address to directly index a cache memory, wherein directly indexing the cache memory does not involve performing a tag-checking operation and eliminates the tag storage overhead.

  • Publication number: 20240347787
Abstract: Described herein are methods and systems for restoring LiMLE cells by cycling such cells using restoring conditions comprising specially selected restoring discharge current (e.g., at least 1 D) and a restoring charge current (e.g., less than 0.5 C). This restoration cycling can be triggered when a LiMLE cell reaches a restoring threshold, determined based on one or more of the following operating and resting conditions: a discharge capacity, an overpotential, an impedance, a direct-current (DC) resistance, the rest period duration, an open circuit voltage, operating discharge and/or charge currents, and an operating cycle count. The restoring threshold is selected to reflect the negative electrode state in a LiMLE cell. The restoring conditions are selected to change this negative electrode state to improve the performance of the LiMLE cell. For example, the restoring discharge can reduce the cell's state of charge (SOC) by at least 10%.
