  • Patent number: 10445173
Abstract: A method for programming a non-volatile memory in a programming operation is provided. The non-volatile memory has a number of cells and each of part of the cells stores data having at least 2 bits at least corresponding to a first page and a second page. The first programming-verifying operation including programming the first page and verifying whether the first page is successfully programmed is performed. When a first original fail-bit number for the first page is more than a predetermined fail-bit value, a second programming-verifying operation to the first page is performed to obtain a first over-counting fail-bit number for the first page and reduce the first original fail-bit number by the first over-counting fail-bit number. When the reduced first original fail-bit number is not more than the predetermined fail-bit value, the first page is set as successfully programmed.

  • Publication number: 20190205981
Abstract: A technical indicator, TSE (Thrust, Sideway Engagement), is introduced. There are many reasons for this new indicator. The first one is to use this TSE to predict the price movement range. The second one is to use this TSE as a trading tool. The final one is to know how reliable this TSE is before using it. The construction of this TSE consists of one new tool and three other well-known tools. Interestingly, the combination of these four tools will work in a complimentary way. It is working in such way that it can alleviate the potential problems of each individual tool. As a result, the final TSE will track the price movement and provide some useful information. The verification process of the TSE is to use the linear regression on the security price and its TSE value. When we have the F-statistic test score of this TSE, we can know how well the TSE is tracking the security price. The larger the F-statistic score is, the more confident we have in this TSE value.
