  • Publication number: 20050086720
Abstract: In an information processing apparatus which transfers target information to an external data processing device to process the information, and saves the processed information, a data management unit stores second identification information corresponding to the target information in association with the target information to which first identification information is attached. The first changing unit deletes the first identification information from the target information and adds the corresponding second identification information to the target information in the data management unit. The transfer unit transfers the target information processed by the first changing unit to the external data processing device.

  • Publication number: 20050007387
Abstract: The magnification of an image is set. The distance between the positions of two designated points on the image is measured. On the basis of the set magnification set and a measurement value, an actual measurement value on the object corresponding to the measurement value of the distance between the positions of the two designated points on the image is calculated. The set magnification, the measurement value, and the calculated actual measurement value are simultaneously displayed.

  • Publication number: 20050001850
Abstract: In a radiographic image processing apparatus for generating synthesized image data by synthesizing a plurality of partial radiographic images generated by radiation that has passed through the same object, additional information added to each of the plurality of partial radiographic images is acquired. On the basis of the acquired additional information, it is determined whether synthesis is to be permitted. When it is determined that synthesis is not to be permitted, generation of the synthesized image data is inhibited.

  • Patent number: 6789087
Abstract: When radiography or other photography is executed on a mass basis, by use of an information processing apparatus that processes a photographed images as digital image signals, identification information for identifying an examining location (e.g., a particular company), etc., is inputted. A database in which information regarding one or more examinees is stored, is selected, identification information that identifies the current examinee is inputted, and corresponding information is obtained from the database. A series of numbers for identifying photographing is generated for every examinee, and the examinee is photographed. The obtained image information is stored in a nonvolatile storing unit together with a series of numbers and the examinee information.

  • Publication number: 20040172292
Abstract: A medical image handling system includes a monitor for displaying a medical image, an input device for inputting an image reading report corresponding to the medical image displayed on the monitor, and a processor. The processor judges presence or absence of an image reading report corresponding to the medical image displayed on the monitor, and restricts a change of the medical image in case the image reading report is judged as absent.

  • Publication number: 20040109008
Abstract: The invention facilitates a setting operation relating to the displaying and laying out of images and arranges it so that the layout will reflect the preferences of the observer. The invention provides a medical image display apparatus for displaying medial images and other medical data on a display unit. An image storage unit for storing medical images and a processor are connected to the display unit. A frequency-of-use storage unit and a mode storage unit are connected to the processor. When medical images have been displayed, the frequency-of-use storage unit stores the frequency of use of the layout type. The apparatus sets a display format of the medical images automatically based upon the frequency of use of this layout type. There is a good possibility that a layout type having a high frequency of use will reflect the preference of the reader (observer).

  • Patent number: 6714623
Abstract: In an image collecting system for sensing an X-ray image by using a solid state image pickup unit, the operability of the system is improved by omitting an operation of turning on and off the solid state image pickup unit or other operations. When an operator selects an image sensing part of an object by using an acquisition part setting button on a display unit, the solid state image pickup unit is driven and a timer starts, and in addition, the sensing condition, image processing parameters and the like are automatically set in accordance with the selected sensing part. When an exposure button is depressed before the timer counts up, e.g., in 10 minutes, an X-ray generation control unit makes an X-ray tube radiate an X-ray to the object, and the solid state image pickup unit senses an X-ray image. If the exposure button is not depressed in 10 minutes, the operation of the solid state image pickup unit is stopped and the set sensing part is released.

  • Patent number: 6671394
Abstract: An image processing apparatus capable of speedy processing and cost reduction is provided. A generating apparatus reduces an original image as a display image or the like, and generates a reduced image. An image processing apparatus performs image processing for the generated reduced image by the generating apparatus based on a set first image processing condition. An image correction apparatus performs image correction for the original image based on a set second image processing condition. At this time, the first and second image processing conditions are associated with each other according to the reduction conditions for the generating apparatus.

  • Patent number: 6643405
Abstract: It is an object to obtain compressed image data in which a compression ratio has been recorded. To accomplish it, an image processing method has a first compressing step of compressing by using an input image, a calculating step of calculating a compression ratio for the input image on the basis of a result of the compression in the first compressing step, an embedding step of embedding information indicative of the calculated compression ratio into the input image and a second compressing step of compressing the input image in which the information showing the compression ratio has been recorded in the embedding step.

  • Publication number: 20020006218
Abstract: Plural images photographed with an X-ray photographing system are consecutively input and plural photographing images of optional sizes are arranged in an output area. When the plural photographing images can not be arranged in the output area as a result of the arrangement, marginal portions of the photographing images are deleted on the basis of widths of photographing image arranging areas or a width of a runover image and the images are arranged once again. On the basis of a final arrangement result, the images are output to a laser imager or the like for printout on a film or the like.

  • Patent number: 6157700
Abstract: After gain correction acquisition images are collected, an image reading apparatus calculates any deviation between the grid direction and the pixel line-up direction of a solid-state imaging element (12) in the rotation direction in the grid direction calculation process, and the deviation of a grid (11) in the rotation direction is corrected by accurately aligning the grid direction in the gain correction acquisition image to have a given relationship with respect to the pixel line-up direction, thus photographing an image in practice.

  • Patent number: 5978562
Abstract: All or necessary minimum objects are copied in an image drawing apparatus and sent to a print queue. The objects are deleted in response to a deletion command from a higher level apparatus, whereas the copied objects are deleted after a print operation. Alternatively, the objects are deleted after the print operation in response to a deletion command entered from the higher level apparatus and temporarily held. In this manner, a deletion command from the higher level apparatus is not rejected and the higher level apparatus can be released as soon as possible.
