Publication number: 20060002199Abstract: A nonvolatile memory apparatus which need not compare an access address with a faulty address every time for rescuing from any fault is to be provided. The apparatus has memory arrays, data registers for inputting and outputting data to and from the memory arrays, and control circuits. The control circuits, after transferring a plurality of sets of data from the memory arrays to the data registers in response to an instruction to read data, take out rescuing data out of the plurality of sets of data transferred to the data registers, and perform processing to replace with the taken-out rescuing data corresponding faulty addresses on the data register to enable the data on the data register to be supplied to the outside. When any faulty data in the read data are to be replaced with rescuing data on any data register to which data have been transferred from any memory array, read access addresses need not be checked whether or not they are faulty every time an access address is supplied from outside.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 23, 2005Publication date: January 5, 2006Inventors: Tsutomu Nakajima, Satoshi Noda, Kenji Kozakai, Atsushi Tokairin

Patent number: 6813303Abstract: According to the present invention, there is provided a light scattering type particle detector, using a semiconductor laser as a light source, for detecting particles contained in sample fluid which defines a flow path, wherein laser light generated from the semiconductor laser is irradiated to irradiate a region of the flow path with a concave mirror and thereby a particle detecting region is defined. According to the present invention, there is also provided a laser oscillator wherein the optical axis of a semiconductor laser for generating pumping laser light has a predetermined angle with respect to the optical axis of a laser medium for irradiating laser light by pumping. Using such a laser oscillator, laser light irradiated from the laser oscillator is condensed to irradiate a region of a flow path defined by sample fluid, and thereby a particle detecting region is defined. Particles contained in the particle detecting region are detected by receiving scattered light with a light receiving portion.Type: GrantFiled: January 24, 2002Date of Patent: November 2, 2004Assignee: Rion Co., Ltd.Inventors: Tomonobu Matsuda, Takashi Minakami, Kenji Sasaki, Tsutomu Nakajima

Patent number: 6089657Abstract: A seat cushion pad for automobiles, wherein at least a part of the seat surface portion comprises a high-resilience foam. The foam is selected such that a load ratio (3%ISR) between a load at which the thickness is 25% compressed when pressed with a pressure plate having a diameter of 60 mm (25%-strain load) and a load at which the thickness is 3% compressed when pressed with the same pressure plate (3%-strain load) is at least about 6. Alternatively, another ratio (5%ISR) between the load at which the thickness is 25% compressed when pressed with the above dimensioned pressure plate (25%-strain load) and a load at which the thickness is 5% compressed when pressed with the pressure plate (5%-strain load) is selected to be at least about 4. Such design provides comfortable seating and resistance against fatigue even during periods of extended driving, and can be prepared at a low cost with a large degree of design freedom.Type: GrantFiled: September 9, 1998Date of Patent: July 18, 2000Assignee: Toyo Tire & Rubber Co., Ltd.Inventors: Masanobu Banno, Tsutomu Nakajima, Hiroaki Ono, Junji Yamamoto

Patent number: 6077437Abstract: A polishing agent recovery and reuse method and device for the same removes large impurities by a filtration device, concentrates by an ultrafiltration device, and continuously recovers polishing agent. Polishing agent used in polishing a semiconductor board or a coating formed on top of a semiconductor board is collected in a pre-processing container after use. Large impurities are removed by a dual fine filtration device. The resulting filtrate is concentrated by an ultrafiltration device. The concentrated solution may then be mixed with filtrate from the dual fine filtration device to further concentrate the polishing agent. The concentration of the polishing agent in the concentrated solution, the pH, and the temperature of the solution are continuously monitored and controlled. The filtrate of the ultrafiltration device is further treated to remove impurities, resulting in pure or ultrapure water. The recovered polishing agent may be reused in further polishing steps.Type: GrantFiled: October 14, 1997Date of Patent: June 20, 2000Assignee: NEC CorporationInventors: Yoshihiro Hayashi, Yukishige Saito, Tsutomu Nakajima, Shin Sato, Yukihiro Furukawa

Patent number: 5906532Abstract: The method for polishing a semiconductor substrate includes the steps of (a) forming a flowing liquid layer between a semiconductor substrate and a substrate holder to thereby support the semiconductor substrate therebetween by surface tension of the flowing liquid layer, and (b) compressing the semiconductor substrate onto a polishing cloth including process liquid therein. The method ensures that a semiconductor substrate is not damaged at a reverse surface thereof and also that a semiconductor substrate is not contaminated by particles contained in process liquid, because the flowing liquid layer prevents particles of process liquid from entering between the semiconductor substrate and the substrate holder.Type: GrantFiled: July 19, 1995Date of Patent: May 25, 1999Assignee: NEC CorporationInventors: Tsutomu Nakajima, Yoshihiro Hayashi
