  • Patent number: 6082341
Abstract: There is disclosed a supercharger for an engine in which intake air is increased in pressure by the use of exhaust gas flowed into the supercharger from the engine, and is fed to the engine. An impeller 2, having a plurality of blades formed on an outer peripheral portion thereof, is received within a casing 1, and a ring-like fluid passage is formed around the plurality of blades, and a first partition 3 and a second partition 4 are provided in the fluid passage to divide this fluid passage into two fluid passages, that is, an exhaust gas passage 6 and an intake air passage 9. There is provided a fluid machine construction for causing the exhaust gas of the engine to flow into and out of the exhaust gas passage, and for causing the intake air to flow into and out of the intake air passage.

  • Patent number: 5814543
Abstract: A method for fabricating a semiconductor integrated circuit device comprising a nonvolatile memory cell, comprises the steps of forming a first gate material which comprises a silicon film containing no impurities, whose top surface is covered with an oxidation-resistant mask, and whose width in the gate-length direction is prescribed, on part of the surface of a first gate insulating film, forming a thermal-oxidation insulating film on the surface of an active region of a semiconductor substrate through thermal oxidation, removing an oxidation-resistant mask, forming a second gate material which comprises a silicon film into which impurities are introduced and whose width in the gate-length direction is prescribed, on each surface of the thermal-oxidation insulating film and the first gate material forming a second gate insulating film on the surface of the second gate material, and forming a third gate material on the surface of the second gate insulating film.

  • Patent number: 5452337
Abstract: A rotational drive sensor 31 which allows a radiation source 10 and a twomensional sensor 20 which are caused to be in one body to turn round a subject 50. An X-ray vessel 13 irradiates X-rays to the subject 50 in a pulsated manner. An X-ray/light conversion element 21 converts an X-ray transmitted image to an optical image. A CCD camera 23 picks up this optical image. An information processing unit 40 reconstructs a three-dimensional pictorial image on the basis of two dimensional pictorial images in plural directions obtained, and a display monitor 46 displays this three-dimensional pictorial image. A controller 39 controls the distance between the X-ray vessel 13 and the X-ray/light conversion element 21 and the focal size of the X-ray vessel 13 on the basis of the size of the subject 50.

  • Patent number: 5188073
Abstract: A fluid control valve which regulates a flow rate of a liquid and, more particularly, which controls a fluid by axially moving a valve body fixed to a valve shaft. The fluid control valve comprises a device for absorbing vibrations of the valve shaft in a direction perpendicular to the axis thereof. More specifically, there is provided a device for exerting a pressing force to lightly press the valve shaft against the inner walls of bearings. Alternatively, the valve shaft may be held between a plurality of elastic plates fixed on the inner surface of a valve casing.
