  • Patent number: 6748191
Abstract: An electrophotographic image recording apparatus incorporates a fixing unit in which a toner image deposited on a print medium is fused by heat under pressure. The fixing unit includes a fixing member and a separator plate. The fixing member is in pressure contact with a pressure member. The separator plate that is disposed close to the fixing member and has a longitudinal portion extending in a direction transverse to a transport path of the print medium. The separator plate has a mid portion of the longitudinal portion. The mid portion has resiliency to extend away from the transport path and a guide member that pushes the mid portion of the separator plate to maintain the entire longitudinal portion flat so that mid portion is prevented from extending away from the transport path.

  • Publication number: 20030000059
Abstract: In a peeling apparatus of an extrusion material batch, a circular blade is arranged at an outlet portion of a kneader, and an outer surface of the extrusion material batch extruded from the outlet portion is peeled uniformly. It is preferred to arrange a longitudinal blade for cutting the peeled waste materials in a radial direction at a periphery of the circular blade. Since a water content of the peeled waste materials is not varied, they can be returned as they are to the inlet hopper of the kneader via a transfer line.

  • Patent number: 6349349
Abstract: This invention relates to an apparatus for storing and transmitting AV data. A receiving buffer unit for storing AV data temporarily, a transmitting buffer unit for storing temporarily the AV data to be transmitted, and a primary storage unit for storing AV data and a secondary storage units for storing AV data are connected to each other by means of a subnetwork. A server control unit for controlling the respective units is connected to the subnetwork. Since these units are connected by means of the subnetwork, any restriction is not given to spaces for installing the units. The capacities of the primary and secondary storage units and the transmitting buffer unit are selected so that they become larger in order of the secondary storage unit, the primary storage unit and the transmitting buffer unit. Thereby, the storage units and the transmitting buffer unit are controlled in a hierarchical form.

  • Patent number: 6253232
Abstract: A control command attaching the same identifier to related commands is input from an application to an AV data processing control device. Further, a command for linking this identifier and a trigger generated by a contact input-1 is input. When the contact input-1 is generated, all control commands containing the identifier are executed. Further, when the link of the contact input-1 and the identifier of the control command is invalidated, even if the contact input-1 is generated, none of the linked control commands are executed. The execution of the control commands is carried out by controlling the controlled devices by the IDCs.

  • Patent number: 6007221
Abstract: A head lamp for a vehicle wherein an actuator is made to be able to be moved to a leveling actuation range corresponding to output from a vehicle body sensor and to a beam change position B out of a leveling actuation range when a beam changing switch is set to a drive beam position, and if the actuator is moved to the beam change position B at least a part covering a lower half of a discharge lamp of the hood is moved back to switch it from a passing beam state to a drive beam state. The actuator for leveling actuation indispensable to be provided for the head lamp for a vehicle having the discharge lamp as a light source, makes it possible also to switch between the passing beam state and drive beam state, thereby dissolving problems of large size and high cost of the head lamp.

  • Patent number: 5895626
Abstract: The invention presents a method, apparatus and container for sterilizing solid matter or liquid matter containing solid matter efficiently in a short time, while preventing deterioration of quality or decline of flavor. In this method, solid matter (a) and liquid matter (b) are separately heated and sterilized, and both are mixed after being sterilized, and put and sealed in a bag (c) or container. When heating and sterilizing the solid matter independently, the solid matter is weight and dispensed in each retainer (c) by the portion of one pack each, and sterilized, and is transferred, after being sterilized, from the retainer (d) into a bag (c) or container, and sealed. Sterilization is executed by rotating the retainer (d) and inducing an agitating action on the inside solid matter.
