  • Publication number: 20230169091
Abstract: A method is described. The method includes queuing an entry in a queue that identifies an inode that has been changed in an active storage system. The entry further describes a time in the future. The method includes processing the entry upon the time in the future being reached. The processing of the entry includes comparing respective content values maintained for different regions of the inode within the active storage system and a replicate storage system. The method further includes comparing content of those of the regions having different content values as between the active storage system and the replicate storage system. The method further includes updating those regions in the replicate storage system to reflect those regions within the active storage system based on the comparing, and, updating the respective content values of those regions in the replicate storage system.

  • Publication number: 20230146860
Abstract: Microfluidic devices with open ports and gel channels for forming perfusable hydrogel vascular networks with holes or ports for samples, and methods of making and using, are provided which integrate interstitial flows to an ex vivo vascularized tissue model. Samples of cells, spheroids, organoids, and tissues can be used for screening of agents for efficacy, toxicity and dosage. The devices create interstitial flow from the top of the gel hole, through the sample toward the vascular networks, and/or luminal flows generated by a pressure difference between two media channels across the vascular network. This system is useful for studying angiogenesis, immune cell migration and testing new immunotherapy drug candidates.

  • Patent number: 11625417
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention are directed to a two-way data transfer and synchronization system. The data transfer and synchronization system includes a provider system and a customer system. The provider system includes a web service hosted by a web server connected to a computer network and a first database. The customer system includes a client application, connected to the computer network and a second database (e.g., SIS database). The provider system cannot read data from the second database. The client application is configured to send requests to the web service and to receive HTTP responses from the web service. The responses from the web service are executed by the client application so that changes made to the second database are also made to the first database, and vice versa.

  • Publication number: 20230085799
Abstract: A self-balancing Two-Rotation Driving Mechanism (TRDM) uses parallelogram and has low weight, high load, high accuracy, quick response and good adaptation with multi equipment. A longitudinal rotation motor assembly is constrained fully with a base assembly and drives a longitudinal rotation assembly through connecting rod parallelogram. The lateral rotation motor assembly is assembled in the hub of a longitudinal rotation assembly and rotates an equipment clamping assembly in a lateral direction. Generally, the TRDM can drive equipment clamping assembly in two rotations, with longitudinal rotation in the range of ±45° and lateral rotation in range of ±20°. • Publication number: 20230086004
Abstract: A prosthetic limb in amputation rehabilitation, having a forearm and a hand with four fingers and a thumb, with the wrist and the fingers & thumb thereof being fully independently controlled by nerve signals originating in the amputee's brain and not being controlled by the actions of nearby muscles in the amputee's upper arm or shoulder. Control of the prosthesis is achieved by a fully contained electronic unit in the forearm of the prosthesis that receives neural signals from the brain, converts the analog neural signals to digital signals that are fed into an artificial intelligence engine circuit that utilizes a library of algorithms to learn from the brain what the signals are that will produce a desired hand and finger movement, then convert its computed digital output to analog electrical signals that are fed to the prosthetic hand and finger to produce actual motion as instructed by the brain.
