  • Publication number: 20200267713
Abstract: At least two PDSCH resource allocations can be received. Different PDSCH resource allocations of the at least two PDSCH resource allocations can be associated with different spatial filters for a UE. A pre-emption indication that indicates pre-empted resources can be received. A determination can be made as to whether the pre-emption indication is applicable to a first PDSCH resource allocation, a second PDSCH resource allocation, both PDSCH resource allocations, or no PDSCH resource allocation of the at least two PDSCH resource allocations. A first PDSCH corresponding to the first PDSCH resource allocation can be decoded based on no transmission being present for the UE in the pre-empted resources in response to determining the pre-emption indication is applicable to the first PDSCH resource allocation and not applicable to the second PDSCH resource allocation.

Abstract: For Type-II codebook compression, methods, apparatus, and systems are disclosed. One apparatus includes a transceiver that receives a reference signal and a processor that identifies a set of beams based on the reference signal. The processor generates a set of coefficients associated with each beam in the set of beams based on the reference signal and identifies a set of tap indices, where the set of tap indices is a common subset of coefficient indices that is the same over the set of beams. The processor generates a combinatorial codeword representing the set of tap indices and reports the combinatorial codeword for the set of tap indices as part of a CSI feedback report.

  • Publication number: 20200228178
Abstract: Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for generating a CSI report. One apparatus includes a transceiver that receives a set of reference signals transmitted from a base station and a processor that transforms the set of reference signals to obtain per-layer vectors of amplitude and phase coefficients of a DFT-compressed codebook. Here, the first element of the amplitude coefficient vector corresponding to one particular beam is unity and the first element of the phase coefficient vector corresponding to the particular beam is zero. The apparatus transmits CSI feedback that includes an indication of one or more elements of the vectors of amplitude coefficient vectors and phase coefficient vectors corresponding to at least one identified beam, and does not include the first element of the amplitude coefficient vector and the first element of the phase coefficient vector corresponding to the particular beam.
