Patent number: 12214238Abstract: A clamping device for securely engaging one or more objects through an application of pressure. The clamping device includes a primary member having opposed interior and exterior surfaces. The primary member has a generally cylindrical shape such that the interior surface defines a generally circular space about a center point of the primary member. The clamping device can receive an elongated member through the generally circular space circumscribed by the primary member. The primary member is adapted for clamping and releasing such that the clamping device may releasably engage the elongated member. The elongated member is securely retained by the clamping device through the application of pressure.Type: GrantFiled: March 20, 2023Date of Patent: February 4, 2025Assignee: Coulter Ventures, LLC.Inventor: Tyler Scott Stilson

Patent number: 12135852Abstract: A method for execution by a touch screen computing device includes obtaining a touch signal associated with a row electrode of a touch screen display that is operable to render frames of data into visible images, where the touch screen display includes rows of electrodes oriented with columns of electrodes. The method further includes spatial filtering the touch signal in a first direction of the row electrode with respect to columns of the electrodes that form intersections with the row electrode to produce first direction touch signal data. The method further includes spatial filtering the touch signal in a second direction of the row electrode with respect to the intersections to produce second direction touch signal data. The method further includes combining the first and second direction touch signal data to produce a filtered touch signal. The method further includes processing the filtered touch signal to determine touch data.Type: GrantFiled: September 5, 2023Date of Patent: November 5, 2024Assignee: SIGMASENSE, LLC.Inventors: Tyler Scott Harris, John Christopher Price, Grant Howard McGibney, Timothy W. Markison, Timothy D. Taylor

Patent number: 12066045Abstract: A clamping device includes a primary member with a central passage and a clamping member connected to the primary member. The clamping member includes an annular body that extends around the central passage between first and second ends. The device also includes an actuator mechanism with an actuator connected to the primary member at a pivot connection, and a pivot arm pivotably connected to the actuator at an eccentric connection spaced from the pivot connection. The actuator pivots between an unlocked position and a locked position, where the pivot arm engages the second end of the clamping member to move the first and second ends closer together. When moving the actuator mechanism from the unlocked to the locked position, the pivot arm travels ahead of the eccentric connection and/or toward the second end of the clamping member. Moving the actuator mechanism from the locked to the unlocked position causes the opposite movement.Type: GrantFiled: July 2, 2020Date of Patent: August 20, 2024Assignee: Coulter Ventures, LLC.Inventor: Tyler Scott Stilson

Publication number: 20240175456Abstract: A clamping device includes a primary member, a clamping member configured for selectively clamping the primary member to a mounting member, and an engagement mechanism configured to engage an exterior surface proximate to the front side of the primary member. The engagement mechanism may include an abutment member for abutting the surface, an input member for user manipulation, and a linkage between the input member and the abutment member to effect axial movement of the abutment member by the input member. An actuator mechanism for locking and unlocking the clamping member may also be included. The clamping device may be in the form of a barbell clamp in one configuration, which is configured for mounting on a mounting member in the form of a barbell and engaging a weight plate that defines the exterior surface.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 4, 2023Publication date: May 30, 2024Inventor: Tyler Scott Stilson
