  • Patent number: 4596337
Abstract: A beverage vessel, includes a receptacle formed of vitreous material, a handle, and a layer of adhesive material fastening said handle to said receptacle.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 27, 1983
Date of Patent: June 24, 1986
    Assignee: Bosch-Siemens Hausgerate GmbH
Inventors: Christian Gerold, Fritz John, Udo Leuschner, Alfons Zinsberger
  • Patent number: 4473002
Abstract: Coffee machine with a centrifugal filter releasably coupled suring operation with a motor shaft and receiving brewing water via a transporter disposed thereon and rotatable therewith including a plurality of transport channels for brewing water distributed around the periphery of the transporter.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 21, 1982
Date of Patent: September 25, 1984
    Assignee: Bosch-Siemens Hausgeraete GmbH
Inventors: Udo Leuschner, Alfons Zinsberger, Alfons Reitmeier
  • Patent number: 4464982
Abstract: Electric coffee machine with a centrifugal filter which, via a rotating transporter disposed thereon collects boiling water from a heated water bowl disposed therebelow, and with a casing surrounding the water bowl, comprising means for rotatably mounting the centrifugal filter on the water bowl, and elastic buffer elements moveably supporting the water bowl on the casing.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 21, 1982
Date of Patent: August 14, 1984
    Assignee: Bosch-Siemens Hausgeraete GmbH
    Inventors: Udo Leuschner, Alfons Zinsberger
  • Patent number: 4262585
Abstract: Electric coffee maker in which the water is transported from a fresh-water tank through a cold water line to a water heater, and from there through a hot-water line to a coffee filter. The coffee maker has incorporated a valve and a timer, called a time delay valve, which in conjunction with the heater and cold water line holds back or delays the full transport of water from the fresh-water tank and permits no flow of water or only a minimal amount of it to be transported for an initial period of time. This permits liquid ducts and receptacles downstream from the water heater to be preheated and thus smaller amounts of really hot coffee can be taken from coffee makers which are designed for larger quantities of coffee.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 13, 1979
Date of Patent: April 21, 1981
    Assignee: Bosch Siemens Hausgerate GmbH
    Inventors: Udo Leuschner, Alfons Zinsberger
  • Patent number: 4206341
Abstract: An adjustable temperature warming plate for an electric coffee maker in which a fixedly positioned metal hot plate has an electric heating element disposed beneath and adjacent the hot plate with the supporting means for the electric heating element permitting the heating element to pivot about a contact point near the edge of the hot plate for varying the thermal coupling of the heating element to the hot plate by changing the spacing between the heating element and the hot plate. A pressure element is provided to urge the heater toward the contact point and a setting element is provided to adjust the spacing between the heating element and the hot plate. This provides a simple and reliable means for varying the thermal coupling of the heating element to the hot plate and consequently the temperature of the warming plate. The heating element includes a tube unitary therewith forming a continuous flow water heating tube for the coffee maker.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 20, 1977
Date of Patent: June 3, 1980
    Assignee: Bosch-Siemens Hausgerate GmbH
Inventors: Udo Leuschner, Gunther Traunspurger, Alfons Zinsberger
  • Patent number: 4205598
Abstract: An electric coffee maker having a coffee pot in the form of a Dewar flask supported in a shock-proof outer housing surrounding the flask. A fresh water container and a coffee filter are disposed above the coffee pot. An electric flow-through heater is disposed in the housing below the top of the Dewar flask. Fresh water conduit means are conducted from the fresh water container through the interior of the housing to the flow-through heater. The hot-water conduit means from the heater to the top of the filter are routed through a handle formed from the housing.
