A relay wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may act as a relay between the network and the remote WTRU. The relay WTRU may receive a temporary mobile group identity (TMGI) request message from a remote WTRU. The TMGI request message may include a TMGI, a ProSe per packet priority level associated with the TMGI, etc. The relay WTRU may receive an evolved multimedia broadcast multicast service (eMBMS) data packet from a network. The eMBMS may be associated with the TMGI. The relay WTRU may apply the received ProSe per packet priority level associated with the TMGI to the received eMBMS data packet. The relay WTRU may relay the eMBMS data packet to the remote WTRU based on the ProSe per packet priority level. The relay WTRU may forward the eMBMS data packet to the remote WTRU via a PC5 interface.

A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive a first message from a network over a first access technology. The first message may include an indication for the WTRU to reestablish resources for one or more protocol data unit (PDU) sessions over a second access technology. The WTRU may determine that a PDU session of the one or more PDU sessions is locally deactivated by the WTRU. The WTRU may determine that it is in a limited service state associated with the second access technology. The WTRU may send a second message via the first access technology. The second message may include a PDU session status information element (IE) indicating the PDU session is locally deactivated such that the network releases the PDU session.

The WTRU is configured to enter active times based on the third set of parameters on a condition that the WTRU is not in the connected state and remains registered with the network. During the active times, the WTRU is configured to monitor physical downlink control channels (PDCCHs) for paging messages.

An application identifier may be mapped to a 3GPP identifier. Further, a method and apparatus are described for performing client-server discovery. The first and second WTRUs may perform a radio access network (RAN) discovery procedure at an access stratum (AS) layer.     Abstract: A WTRU may initiate access for a PDU session over multiple access networks. The WTRU may register with two or more access networks. For example, the WTRU may register with a 3GPP access network (e.g., LTE Advanced) and a non-3GPP access network (e.g., Wi-Fi). The WTRU may determine to request a multi-access PDU session for a (e.g., at least one) PDU session. A multi-access PDU session may correspond to a PDU session where the WTRU communicates one or more PDUs associated with the PDU session over the 3GPP access network and one or more PDUs associated with the PDU session over the non-3GPP access network. The WTRU may receive a confirmation message indicating that a multi-access PDU session has been established. The WTRU may send uplink data over the 3GPP access network and the non-3GPP access network, e.g., in accordance with the established multi-access PDU session.

A partial handover of bearers may be performed. In performing the handover, the target cell is determined based on a priority rule.

    Abstract: A method of communicating using proximity services (ProSe) is disclosed. A base station receives at least one aggregate maximum bit rate (AMBR) parameter from a network entity. The at least one AMBR parameter comprises a maximum bit rate that a first wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) can use for data sent on one or more ProSe bearers. The base station receives a request from the first WTRU to establish the one or more ProSe bearers with a second WTRU. The request comprises priority information of the one or more ProSe bearers determined by the first WTRU. The base station sends an indication to the first WTRU to establish a ProSe communication over the one or more ProSe bearers based on at least the AMBR parameter and the priority information of the one or more ProSe bearers.
