The methods comprise the steps of determining a set of used sub-bands of the plurality of sub-bands available for data transmission, generating used sub-band control information pertaining to a plurality of sub-bands in the wideband carrier based on the set of used sub-bands, and providing the used sub-band control information to the one or more mobile devices.

Abstract: A method of configuring a UE operating in a cellular communications system for discontinuous reception includes the steps of receiving or configuring a plurality of discontinuous reception configurations at the UE, selecting at least one of the discontinuous reception configurations for use by the UE, and operating the UE according to the at least one selected discontinuous reception configuration.

Abstract: A method for selecting resources for a transmission between a first UE and a second UE is disclosed. A set of coordination resources is determined at the first UE. The set of coordination resources includes coordination information which may indicate whether the set of coordination resources are preferred resources and/or non-preferred resources. The set of coordination resources is sent to the second UE, and the second UE takes the coordination information into account in the resource selection for its own transmission. For example, the resource selection by the second UE may be based on both the sensing result of the second UE and the received coordination information from the first UE. Alternatively, there source selection by the second UE may be based exclusively or non-exclusively on the received coordination information from the first UE.
