    Abstract: A fuel injector (1), particularly a fuel injector for fuel injection systems in internal combustion engines, has a valve needle (3), which cooperates with a valve-seat surface (6) to form a sealing seat, and an armature (20), which engages with the valve needle (3), the armature (20) being movable along the axis of the valve needle (3) and being damped by a damping element (32) made from an elastomer. In this context, a first intermediate ring (34) is situated between the armature (20) and the damping element (32). The damping element (32) rests on the flange (31), which is connected in a force-locking manner to the valve needle (3). The intermediate ring (34) and/or the flange (31) is furnished with radial and/or axial channels which connect an interior volume (36) located between the valve needle (3) and the damping element (32) to a central cutaway (42) of the fuel injector (1).

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and a circuit system for operating a solenoid valve (MV), particularly for actuating an electrohydraulic gas-exchange valve control, an injection valve, or an intake or exhaust valve of an internal combustion engine. To permit the simplest possible driving of the solenoid valve (MV), it is proposed that the solenoid valve (MV) be acted upon in a controlled manner in a cycle including three phases, in which in a pull-up phase, the solenoid valve (MV) is connected for a predefined time duration (T—1) to a first voltage (U—1) of predetermined magnitude for generating a pull-up current, in a holding phase is connected to a second voltage (U—2) of predetermined magnitude for generating a holding current, and in a de-energize phase is separated from both voltages (U—1, U—2).

    Abstract: A fuel injector (16) for fuel injecting systems of internal combustion engines having a valve needle (3) has a valve seat surface (1) at a valve seat element (2). The valve seat surface (1) acts together with a valve closing element (5) to form a sealing seat (4). The fuel injector (16) further has a magnetic coil (6), an armature (8) engaging the valve needle (3), and at least one fuel channel (9) on armature (8) and/or valve needle (3) for supplying fuel to sealing seat (4). Fuel channel (9) has a flow valve (10) which throttles the fuel flow through fuel channel (9) more strongly during a closing movement of the armature (8) than during an opening movement of armature (8). In one specific embodiment, flow valve (10) is activated by a magnetic field (11) generated by magnetic coil (6) and an operating element (14) made of ferromagnetic material.

    Abstract: A device for feeding fuel from a supply container to an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle has a supply container, a collecting cup arranged in the supply container, a fuel feeding pump which aspirates fuel from the collecting cup, a feeding conduit into which the aspirated fuel is fed to the internal combustion engine, a return conduit through which a fuel is returned back to said supply container, a jet pump arranged in the supply container and having a jet nozzle connected with the return conduit, a mixing pipe which is open in the collecting cup and is substantially in alignment with the jet nozzle, a suction opening provided between the jet nozzle and the mixing pipe, a check valve flap arranged in the collecting cup and closing an outlet of the mixing pipe, the check valve flap being formed so that it deviates a filling jet of the jet pump which is supplied from fuel from the supply container into the suction cup against a fuel pressure in the suction cup, from the outlet of the mixing pipe.

    Abstract: A liquid filter (1) with a built-in pressure regulator (11) for fuel is proposed, in which the pressure regulator (11) with its diaphragm (32) is mounted on the inside of a cap (14) that has the inflow connector (16) and the tank connector (17). The diaphragm (32), which experiences a flow on its inside, is acted upon by the pressure of the fuel on the clean side (25) of the filter element (21), and the flow through the filter element is radially from the outside inward. Integrating the pressure regulator (11) in the cap enables a simple, compact, economical design of the liquid filter (10), through whose valve (36) in the pressure regulator (11) only cleaned fuel flows.

    Abstract: In a peripheral pump with an impeller with a plurality of vanes and a pump chamber, the impeller has a ring-shaped supply passage in each limiting wall, and supply passages are connected over a periphery of the impeller. A suction opening is formed in one wall part, and the front supply passage is formed in this wall part separately from the suction opening and after the suction opening in a rotary direction of the impeller. The rear supply passage is formed in the other wall part and is formed in the peripheral region of the suction opening. During the operation fuel flows through the suction opening only into the rear supply passage, and in the rotary direction first after the suction opening flows from the rear supply passage which has a reduced cross-section, into the front supply passage which has an increased cross-section.

At least one of the end walls is provided with a groove-shaped unloading passage in a region between an end surface of the feeding element and a sealing surface of the one end wall and communicating through a further opening the pump chamber with a low pressure region. The suction opening has an end facing in a rotary direction of the feeding element. The unloading passage is located near the end of the suction opening.

    Abstract: A device for injecting a fuel-gas mixture in which the fuel stream is injected via injection ports of a fuel injection valve into distributor openings of a distributor line in a distributor housing. The fuel streams are injected in aimed fashion from the injection ports via fuel transport conduits into the distributor openings, which has an advantage of accurate fuel allocation to the various distributor openings and of maximally homogeneous mixture formation. The gas for the gas-fuel mixture flows out of a central gas delivery opening via a gas distributor chamber and via a respective gas gap to one distributor opening each, where it envelops the applicable fuel stream in which the gas and fuel is conducted to an intake tube or directly into the cylinder.

    Abstract: An apparatus for injecting a fuel-gas mixture into the mixing lines of a mixing housing, so that a maximally homogeneous fuel-gas mixture is assured. The fuel is injected in an oriented fashion for the injection ports directly into the mixing lines in an accurate fuel distribution to the various mixing lines in a maximally homogenous mixture formation. From a central gas delivery line, the gas reaches each mixing line via a respective gas conduit. Via the mixture injection lines, the mixture is delivered to the cylinders or injection groups of an internal combustion engine.
