  • Patent number: 11677586
Abstract: A first provider edge device may receive device information from a second provider edge device included in an Ethernet virtual private network (EVPN). The device information may identify a media access control (MAC) address and may indicate that the device is connected to the second provider edge device. The first provider edge device may receive data transmitted by the device and may determine, based on information included in the data, that the device has moved from the second provider edge device to the first provider edge device. The first provider edge device may generate a data packet including mobility information indicating that the device has moved to the first provider edge device. The first provider edge device may transmit, via a data plane of the EVPN, the data packet to the second provider edge device to permit the second provider edge device to update routing information for the device.

  • Publication number: 20230095253
Abstract: Techniques are described for providing fast reroute for traffic in EVPN-VXLAN. For example, a backup PE device of an Ethernet segment is configured with an additional tunnel endpoint address (“reroute tunnel endpoint address”) for a backup path associated with a second split-horizon group that is different than a tunnel endpoint address and first split-horizon group for another path used for normal traffic forwarding. The backup PE device sends the reroute tunnel endpoint address to a primary PE device of the Ethernet segment, which uses the reroute tunnel endpoint address to configure a backup path to the backup PE device over the core network. For example, the primary PE device may install the reroute tunnel endpoint address within its forwarding plane and one or more operations to cause the primary PE device to encapsulate a VXLAN header including the reroute tunnel endpoint address when rerouting the packet along the backup path.

  • Publication number: 20230055704
Abstract: Using a flat shell for an accelerator card includes reading a flat shell from one or more computer readable storage media using computer hardware, wherein the flat shell is a synthesized, unplaced, and unrouted top-level circuit design specifying platform circuitry. A kernel specifying user circuitry is synthesized using the computer hardware. The kernel is obtained from the one or more computer readable storage media. The synthesized kernel is linked, using the computer hardware, to the flat shell forming a unified circuit design. The unified circuit design is placed and routed, using the computer hardware, to generate a placed and routed circuit design specifying the platform circuitry and the user circuitry for implementation in an integrated circuit.

  • Patent number: 11536676
Abstract: A multi-frequency signal may be used to induce voltage difference across a portion of a pipe. The voltage difference may be induced to take multi-frequency measurement of impedance characteristics of fluid inside the pipe. The multi-frequency measurement of the impedance characteristic of the fluid inside the pipe may be used to determine a characteristic of the fluid inside the pipe. This may be achieved by active integration of experimental data with high-resolution multi-frequency electrical impedance tomography (MFEIT) modeling.

  • Patent number: 11507394
Abstract: Changing accelerator card images without rebooting a host system includes receiving, within an integrated circuit (IC) of an accelerator card, an address of a platform image stored in a non-volatile memory of the accelerator card. The address is received over a communication link between the host system and the accelerator card while the communication link is connected. Changing accelerator card images includes detecting, within a register of the IC, that a warm boot enable flag is set and that the communication link with the host system is disconnected. In response to detecting that the warm boot enable flag is set and that the communication link is disconnected, loading of the platform image from the address of the non-volatile memory into the integrated circuit is initiated.

  • Publication number: 20220268170
Abstract: A method of servicing a portion of a gas turbine engine includes inserting a rigid guide tube into an inspection port in a shroud of the gas turbine engine. The flexible guide tube is inserted into and through the rigid guide tube. The flexible guide tube is pre-shaped such that the flexible guide tube is biased towards a predetermined shape after being inserted through the rigid guide tube. A tool is pushed through the flexible guide tube such that the distal end of the tool moves out of and away from an end of the flexible guide tube. An area of interest of the gas turbine engine is then serviced with the tool.
