  • Patent number: 12103410
Abstract: Wirelessly charging a vehicle battery may be performed using a plurality of charging coils. In some examples, the offboard coils and the onboard coils may be spaced apart by different amounts, such that, when the vehicle is positioned in a vehicle charging space, at least one pair of an onboard coil and an offboard coil may still be substantially aligned for wireless charging, even when other coils are misaligned. In some examples, the offboard coils may include sizes that are conducive to charge smaller capacity systems in some arrangements and are combinable to charge larger capacity systems in other arrangements. In addition, the use of relatively small coils may allow for flexibility in thermal management.

  • Patent number: 12107842
Abstract: Systems for contactless authentication and event processing are provided. In some examples, a user may request processing of an event. The user may provide user identifying or event identifying information that may be transmitted to contactless processing computing platform. Based on the user identifying information, additional user data may be retrieved. An interactive authentication request may be generated and transmitted to the user computing device. The interactive authentication request may include a request for one or more types of authentication data. The user may input authentication response data into the user computing device, which may then be transmitted to the contactless processing computing platform for evaluation. The authentication response data may be evaluated to determine whether it includes a trigger, whether it matches pre-stored authentication data, and the like. In response, one or more authentication outputs may be generated and/or the requested event may be processed or denied.

  • Patent number: 12093742
Abstract: A system includes a subsystem, a database, a memory, and a processor. The subsystem includes a computational resource associated with a resource usage and having a capacity corresponding to a maximum resource usage value. The database stores training data that includes historical resource usages and historical events. The memory stores a machine learning algorithm that is trained, based on the training data, to predict, based on the occurrence of an event, that a future value of the resource usage at a future time will be greater than the maximum value. The processor detects that the event has occurred. In response, the processor applies the machine learning algorithm to predict that the future value of the resource usage will be greater than the maximum value. Prior to the future time, the processor increases the capacity of the computational resource to accommodate the future value of the resource usage.

  • Publication number: 20240249019
Abstract: Systems and methods for generation of a synthetic dataset that simultaneously represents the original data and preserves privacy are provided. The objective of answering statistical queries in a differentially-private manner is addressed by providing data-independent and data-dependent algorithms based on space partitioning for differentially private dataset release. These algorithms are intuitive and transparent, resulting in theoretical results on the utility-privacy tradeoffs where utility is measured with respect to kernel density preservation. The data-dependent approach overcomes the curse of dimensionality and leads to a scalable algorithm.

  • Patent number: 12026173
Abstract: A system for extracting and providing information from a source document includes a memory and a processor. The memory stores data associated with the source document. The processor is configured to classify the source document as a determined document type from a plurality of document types. The processor extracts data from the source document based at least in part upon the determined document type and store that extracted data as a first extracted data in the memory. When a request for information is received, the processor then determines if the first extracted data includes all the requested information and if it does not, the processor extracts second extracted data from the image file and stores the second extracted data along with the first extracted data and the image file in the memory. The requested information is then provided to the requesting process from the first and second extracted data.

  • Publication number: 20240202574
Abstract: The technology described herein is directed towards supporting remote management of machine learning models hosted by network functions in advanced communication networks. Remote management can include model training on more powerful remote machines, along with model selection based on target performance data. A model host (a network function) sends capability data comprising metadata of a local machine learning model to an operator, followed by remote configuration by the operator to enhance the inference accuracy and speed at the network function hosting the model. A model host can retrain a model based on local data, and request remote training if the retrained model does not meet performance criteria. Alternatively, a model host can select a model from a group of models, and request a new model if no selected model of the group meets performance criteria.
