  • Publication number: 20230333753
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for utilizing non-RAM memory to implement a cloud storage system. An embodiment operates by receiving a request from an on-premises computer system to securely access a cloud drive by receiving an object specific template for an object. Based on the object specific template, an object specific plugin is selected, wherein the object specific plugin is configured to provide a connection to a cloud-based repository to obtain real time data for the object. An instance of the object is generated and communicated to a cloud plugin, wherein the cloud plugin is configured to communicate to a specific cloud drive through an HTTP client and further upload the instance of the object to the specific cloud drive.

  • Patent number: 11776597
Abstract: A memory subsystem and method for performing calibrations therein is disclosed. A memory subsystem includes a memory controller coupled to a memory by a plurality of signal paths. The memory controller is configured to perform an initial calibration to determine respective eye patterns corresponding to the ones of the plurality of signal paths. For a subsequent calibrations, updated eye patterns are determined for a subset of the plurality of signal paths. Remaining ones of the plurality of signal paths (not included in the subset), are not active during the subsequent calibrations. Updated eye patterns for the remaining ones of the plurality of signal paths are determined based on information obtained during the initial calibration and information from signal paths in the subset designated proxies for the remaining ones of the plurality of signal paths.

  • Publication number: 20230262574
Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein relate to enabling direct wireless device-to-device communication between sleepy end devices (SEDs) of a mesh (e.g., Thread®) network. A router may forward packets between end devices of the mesh network. However, if the router is not available, SEDs may not be able to communicate with each other using a mesh protocol. Embodiments presented herein enable end devices of the mesh network to communicate directly, without a router. Some embodiments are directed to changing a role of an end device to temporarily act as a router for a particular target end device. The role change may be based on a trigger event and may be temporary until a target action is performed by the target end device. In some embodiments, the end devices continue to operate as SEDs and use coordinated sampled listening techniques to communicate via the mesh protocol.

  • Publication number: 20230222316
Abstract: Methods and systems are presented for providing automated online chat assistance in an online chat session. One or more utterances transmitted from a user device of a user via the online chat session are obtained. The one or more utterances are provided to a first prediction model to predict an intent of a user. If it is determined that the first prediction model is unable to predict the intent of the user based on the one or more utterances, the one or more utterances are provided to a second prediction model. After predicting the intent of the user by the second prediction model, the intent is used by a chat robot to provide a dialogue with the user via the online chat session. The one or more utterances and the predicted intent are used to re-train the first prediction model.

  • Publication number: 20230206105
Abstract: A synchronization system for synchronizing photons in a quantum teleportation network. The synchronization system includes a multiplexer combining a clock pulse with a signal photon (carrying a qubit) in an optical fiber, the optical fiber connecting a transmitter node (including the multiplexer) and a receiver node (comprising a demultiplexer). The signal photons have signal wavelengths red shifted as compared to clock wavelengths of the clock pulses. The clock pulses have an intensity below a threshold, such that Raman scattering of the clock pulses by the fiber (shifting the clock wavelengths into the signal wavelengths) is negligible. The receiver node comprises a demultiplexer demultiplexing the one of the signal photons and the one of the clock pulses; a first detector detecting the one of the signal photons; and a second detector detecting the one of the clock pulses.

  • Publication number: 20230199841
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to several techniques for reducing the occurrence of data collisions, which can occur when multiple devices simultaneously transmit data in the same (frequency) channel. For example, a turnaround time in which a device switches from a receive mode of operation to a transmit mode of operation may be reduced based on the device and another device indicating that they are capable of operating with a reduced turnaround. As another example, devices may use learning-based turnaround estimation to determine a turnaround time supported by other devices and utilize the determined turnaround time, for instance, instead of a longer turnaround time. As yet another example, multiple clear channel assessments may be performed before transmitting data. For instance, a first clear channel assessment may be performed during a backoff period, and a second clear channel assessment may be performed afterwards before data is transmitted.

  • Publication number: 20230159399
Abstract: A method for preparing a graphene-nanosheets based concrete additive is disclosed. The method comprises mixing Polycarboxylate ether A (PCE-A) to a retarder - based salt solution to obtain a retarder-based Polycarboxylate ether A solution. In the next step, a retarder based PCE solution is obtained by adding Polycarboxylate ether B to the retarder based Polycarboxylate ether A solution to which graphene nanosheets are added. Further, an air entrainment agent is added to graphene nanosheets based PCE solution and further mixed to obtain the graphene nanosheets based concrete additive.

  • Publication number: 20230156448
Abstract: Methods and devices are disclosed for supporting emergency service calls using dynamic service set identifier (SSID) deployment in a wireless communication network. An access point may receive an emergency service call request from a user device. The access point may also send a message with information about the received emergency service call request to a wireless network manager, and determine whether determining whether to serve the emergency service call request based on a response message received from the wireless network manager. In response to determining to serve the emergency service call request, the access point may create a new service set identifier (SSID) with emergency service call capability.

  • Publication number: 20230105762
Abstract: An approach is described for a wireless device comprising a transceiver and a processor communicatively coupled to the transceiver. In a thread-based device, a thread radio coexists with a primary radio, such as a Bluetooth or WiFi radio. Because both radio share a common frequency band, the thread radio requests grants from the primary radio for transmission and reception. So as to avoid bogging down the primary radio, the thread radio throttles its requests. Specifically, the thread radio tracks certain variables indicative of the number of requests that have been made within a time window and the types of requests that have been made to the primary radio. By limiting the number of total requests and the number of requests of each type within the time window, the thread radio avoids overburdening the primary radio.

  • Patent number: 11620266
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to transitioning between data stores using a data migration server. In some embodiments, the data migration server may be used to access data stored on a preexisting data store to service requests from a plurality of services. A dual-write operation mode for the data migration server may then be enabled such that, in response to a given write request, the data migration server writes a given data entry to both the preexisting data store and a replacement data store. Further, a dual-read operation mode may be enabled such that, in response to a given read request, the data migration server reads a corresponding data entry from both the preexisting and replacement data stores. Configuration settings for the data migration server may then be adjusted to designate the replacement data store as the primary data store to service requests from the services.

  • Publication number: 20230094988
Abstract: An approach is described for a wireless device comprising a transceiver and a processor communicatively coupled to the transceiver. In a thread-based mesh network, a transmitting device occasionally transmits various multicast messages to the network for the purpose of maintaining the network. Of these messages, the mesh link establishment (MLE) advertisement message is particularly important as it notifies neighbor routers as to the presence and function of the transmitting device. Therefore, the transmitting device of the present disclosure transmits its MLE advertisement message to the network multiple times within a given time window. Additionally, the message is transmitted each time with a same identifier. A recipient device stores the identifier of each most recent MLE advertisement message. The identifier of each subsequently received MLE advertisement is compared to the stored identifier. This allows the recipient device to determine whether the message has been previously received.
