A method of providing the enclosure for electronic components on the roof of an autonomous vehicle includes the step of inserting first and second bridge brackets into an injection molding die. A thermoplastic material is injected into the injection molding die to form the hollow enclosure and bridge bracket sub-assembly. The sub-assembly is then arranged on the roof, and the bridge brackets are attached to roof rails of the vehicle.
