    Abstract: Storage and retrieval systems demand time and space efficient approaches. Embodiments herein provide a storage system with guided plate based lifting apparatus for payload loading-unloading on storage rack. The system deploys an Automated Guided Vehicle/Autonomous Mobile Robot (AGV/AMR) mounted with multiple lifting apparatuses in between two adjacent storage racks. The racks are modified with guide plates having entry cutouts for horizontal movements and entry guides for vertical movement of lifting apparatus. Ramp provided in the guide plates at the bottom of racks ensures there is enough clearance for lifting apparatus to go inside an aisle and have smooth vertical lifting. Wheel retention mechanism guides the vertical lifting maintaining required clearance. A conveyor belt mechanism mounted to base plate of lifting apparatus consists of geared rotary motor for conveyor belt that has a forward and backward movement, enabling the lifting apparatus to load/unload the payload inside/outside the racks.

    Abstract: State of the art track width adjustment mechanism fail to support track width adjustment while vehicle is in motion. They also require manual intervention, which causes inconvenience. The disclosure herein generally relates to wheel track adjustment, and, more particularly, to a changeable wheel track mechanism for track width adjustment (referred to as TWA mechanism). The TWA mechanism includes a steer and drive unit, a plurality of links, and a sliding unit. The TWA mechanism allows movement of a wheel in inward and outward directions, causing the track width adjustment. The track width is achieved by changing the wheel position to be at a wider position, or a narrower position, or any intermediate position. The TWA mechanism may be associated with any vehicle for which the track width adjustment is to be achieved.

    Abstract: Conventionally, cleaning of objects has been proposed by use of gloves wherein objects need to be pre-washed manually. However, the level of cleaning is not spotless. Electric scrubbers have also been proposed in solving scrubbing problem but are not efficient. Embodiment of the present disclosure provide a glove that integrates a detachable power-driven scrubber. The power-driven scrubber is configured to controllably rotate in one or more directions based on an activation of a sensor to clean an object. The glove further includes sensing mechanisms for controlled flow of water discharge and controlled flow of cleansing fluid dispense that enables the detachable power-driven scrubber to clean the object. Rotation of the detachable power-driven scrubber is controlled and driven by a drive shaft that transmits rotary motion/torque generated by a motor coupled thereto. A scrubber locking strap is provided on the glove for lock and release of the detachable power-driven scrubber accordingly.

    Abstract: Traditionally, counterweight fork type autonomous mobile robots (AMR) have been used for any kind of pallet. But the challenge is it occupies lot more maneuvering space while making turns, which cannot work in narrow operating zones. Hence fork over AMR is preferred. However, these fork over AMR have extended parts always touching the ground surface and thus are not suitable for pallets with a wooden plank at the bottom of the fork opening in the pallet. To overcome the above technical problems, an Adjustable Counterweight-based Fork Type Autonomous Mobile Robot (ACFTAMR) is provided that includes chassis assembly and vertical mast unit, a horizontal cross slide mechanism and forks. The chassis assembly is provided counterweight assembly and counterbalance shafts that move forward and backward during pickup and release of payload when the vertical mast unit moves in upward/downward direction, thus providing better stability and counterbalance to the ACFTAMR.
