Patent number: 11480035Abstract: A pressure assisted oil recovery system and apparatus that has a pulsating effect unit, a multiphasic flow meter, and a production lift system that passes through a wellbore up to an oil reservoir. The pulsating effect unit has a control valve and a smart control unit. The production lift system has production tubing and a wellhead. The pulsating effect unit is connected to the production lift system. The multiphasic flow meter is connected to the production tubing to obtain well production parameters data. The control valve opens and closes having an opening/closing predetermined frequency. When the control valve opens and closes, it generates pressure variations along the production tubing. The pressure variations create a pulsating effect on walls of the wellbore. The multiphasic flow meter and the pulsating effect unit set an optimal opening/closing frequency of the control valve.Type: GrantFiled: September 4, 2020Date of Patent: October 25, 2022Inventors: Oswaldo Jose Sanchez Torrealba, Oswaldo Alejandro Sanchez Medina, Victor Raul Castillo

Patent number: 9645150Abstract: The method comprises: (a) isolating a sample from the breast tumor; (b) determining the level of expression of GRP94, FN14 or both in the sample, and (c) comparing said level with the level of said gene(s) in a control sample, wherein if it is detected an overexpression of said gene(s), in respect of the control sample, it is indicative of the risk for developing brain metastasis. The kit to carry out the method of the invention comprises appropriate means to determine the level of expression of each one of the markers. Both, the method and kit provides accurate information about the risk of developing brain metastasis in an early state, which can lead to a reduction of the incidence of breast cancer brain metastasis.Type: GrantFiled: June 8, 2010Date of Patent: May 9, 2017Assignee: Angels Sierra JimenezInventors: Rebeca Sanz Pamplona, Angels Sierra Jimenez, Baldomero Oliva Miguel, Victor Raul Moreno Aguado, Juan Miguel Gil Gil

Patent number: 9566896Abstract: An instrument cluster system for a vehicle includes a speedometer gauge having markings indicative of speeds of the vehicle, a pointer, and a speed warning indicator including adjacent lights arranged in position to correlate with the markings. A control unit receives inputs including a speed of the vehicle. GPS provides a location of the vehicle so that the control unit can obtain a posted speed limit of a road on which the vehicle is located. The control unit sends processed data to the cluster so that the cluster can control the lights based on the posted speed limit, such that lights correlating with speeds below the posted speed limit can be illuminated green and lights correlating with speeds above the posted speed limit can be illuminated red, thereby providing a visual warning to a driver as to whether the vehicle is operating above or below the posted speed limit.Type: GrantFiled: August 15, 2014Date of Patent: February 14, 2017Assignee: Continental Automotive Systems, Inc.Inventors: Victor Raul Armenta Lopez, Ricardo Melendez Paz, Ernesto Morales Guerrero, Marco Antonio Vega Diaz
