  • Patent number: 11356837
Abstract: A method performed by a station that includes receiving information from a cell of a Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN), determining whether the information indicates the cell supports circuit switched fallback (CSFB) voice calls, when the CSFB voice calls are not supported, determining whether at least one packet switched voice property of the station satisfies a predetermined condition and attaching to the cell of the PLMN when the predetermined condition is satisfied. A further method performed by a station connected to a PLMN that includes identifying cells of the PLMN available for the station to camp on, determining whether the station is capable of executing packet switched calls, when the station is not capable of executing packet switched calls, determining whether the identified cells have a neighbor cell that supports CSFB voice calls and prioritizing the cells that are identified as having neighbor cells that support CSFB voice calls.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to a system, method, or computer program product structured for continuous authentication and encryption. In some embodiments, the system is structured for receiving content from an entity system, displaying the content as masked content, and determining, using cognitive analysis, that a user wearing smart glasses is viewing a first portion of the masked content through the smart glasses, where the first portion of the masked content is associated with a first content hash. The system is also structured for identifying a first decryption key associated with the first content hash and determining a first cognitive hash. The system is also structured for receiving a first wearable hash from the smart glasses, comparing the first cognitive hash to the first wearable hash, and in response to the first cognitive hash matching the first wearable hash, transmitting the first decryption key to the smart glasses.

  • Publication number: 20220174531
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a user equipment (UE) may transmit or receive a reference signal to or from a base station using a beam pair including a first beam associated with a first polarization and a second beam associated with a second polarization. The UE may select the first beam from a first set of beams associated with the first polarization and may independently select the second beam from a second set of beams associated with the second polarization. In some examples, the UE may select the first beam and the second beam based on the first beam and the second beam each having a greatest beam strength (at the UE or the base station) relative to a remainder of the first set of beams and the second set of beams, respectively.

  • Publication number: 20220172713
Abstract: Mitigating mistranscriptions resolves errors in a transcription of the audio portion of a video based on a semantic matching with contextualized data electronically garnered from one or more sources other than the audio portion of the video. A mistranscription is identified using a pretrained word embedding model that maps words to an embedding space derived from the contextualizing data. A similarity value for each vocabulary word of a multi-word vocabulary of the pretrained word embedding model is determined in relation to the mistranscription. Candidate words are selected based on the similarity values, each indicating a closeness of a corresponding vocabulary word to the mistranscription. The textual rendering is modified by replacing the mistranscription with a candidate word that, based on average semantic similarity values, is more similar to the mistranscription than is each other candidate word.

  • Publication number: 20220171856
Abstract: An example method includes determining, based on a static scan, that a software container image or an intended execution environment of the software container image meets one or more first criteria required to exploit a software vulnerability. Based on the determining, runtime behavior of a software container instantiated from the software container image is monitored. The monitoring including determining whether the software container meets one or more second criteria required to exploit the software vulnerability, wherein the one or more first second criteria differs from the one or more second criteria. Based on the runtime monitoring, a risk score that indicates a magnitude of a risk the software vulnerability poses for the software container is determined, and a notification of the risk score is provided. A system for assessing software containers for vulnerabilities is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20220172443
Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a process that analyzes image content of an immersive video frame and identifies a first group of segments of the immersive video frame based on the analysis. The segments collectively span an entire space portrayed by the immersive video frame and the first group of segments spans less than the entire space. A size of a display region of an immersive video viewer is determined that spans less than the entire space and a second group of segments is determined based on the first group of segments and the size of the display region. Transport of the second group of segments, spanning less than the entire space, is facilitated via a communication network to the immersive video viewer for presentation, without requiring transmission of all of the segments. Other embodiments are disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20220172077
Abstract: A system described herein may use artificial intelligence/machine learning (“AI/ML”) techniques to identify journeys and/or components thereof (e.g., journey states and/or actions) that are optimal and/or sub-optimal for user experiences. The system may further provide for intervention actions in situations where a particular journey has reached or is exceeding a point where the journey may be considered sub-optimal. When the system determines that journey states and/or actions for a given journey are associated with a relatively low journey score, or otherwise deviate from an optimal journey, embodiments described herein may initiate a help session, a chat session, a voice call session, a guided journey process (e.g., in which actions are suggested in order to return the journey to a more optimal condition), and/or some other suitable intervention process.

  • Patent number: 11347192
Abstract: The invention relates to detecting commissioning errors in a commissioned sensor system, wherein the sensor system comprises a plurality of sensor devices installed so as to cover an area. The sensor devices capture sensor data from the area whilst at least one entity moves through the area. A computer system of the sensor system processes the sensor data to generate a set of location data, which identifies locations traversed by the at least one moving entity. A discrepancy in the set of location data in detected, the discrepancy caused by at least one of the sensor devices having been incorrectly commissioned. Based on this detection, a modification can be made to the sensor system to compensate for or correct the incorrect commissioning of the at least one sensor device.
