Abstract: The claimed subject matter provides an architecture for facilitating equilibrium solutions for resource allocation markets. One particular example of such markets can be a computer network environment. The architecture can model buyers as nodes and suppliers as edges, incorporating notions of an ascending price auction in order to provide optimal equilibrium solution to Eisenberg-Gale type convex programs in strongly polynomial time.

Abstract: An application program interface (API) is provided for requesting, storing, and otherwise accessing data within a health integration network. The API facilitates secure and seamless access to the centrally-stored data by offering authentication/authorization, as well as the ability to receive requests in an extensible language format, such as XML, and returns resulting data in XML format. The data can also have transformation, style and/or schema information associated with it which can be returned in the resulting XML and/or applied to the data beforehand by the API. The API can be utilized in many environment architectures including XML over HTTP and a software development kit (SDK).

Abstract: A system that uses a health-related dictionary component to establish responses to requests from devices and applications is provided. The innovation discloses uses of a health-related dictionary to enable retrieval of standardized lists and taxonomies in the healthcare space as well as localization of health-related data. Examples of these taxonomies include codes from medical coding vocabularies such as CPT (Current Procedural Terminology), layouts, templates, as well as references to units of measurements such as feet, inches, meters, liters, etc.

Abstract: Systems (and corresponding methodologies) that facilitate tracking ‘actions’ associated with records and data maintained within a centralized health-related data repository are provided. Effectively, an audit trail helps the user keep track of all the changes and accesses that happened on the user's record and can help them understand the control offered to them over their personal information by the health-related data system. Thus, trust and confidence can be enhanced due to the personal control a user has with regard to access and tracking of the health record. Additionally, the innovation can apply a schema that corresponds to a particular action prior to generating the audit trail or log.

Abstract: A method and system for executing and undoing distributed server change operations for a collection of server objects across multiple target servers in a transaction-safe manner is provided. In one embodiment, server change operations for a collection of server objects, such as files and configuration file entries, are specified in a transaction package. The target servers to which the specified change operation are directed are also identified in the transaction package. Parameter values for each of the identified target servers are specified through a parameter file in the transaction package. The transaction package is sent to the identified target servers, which execute the change operations on the target servers in a transaction-safe manner using these parameter values.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for correlating physical and logical attributes of devices include associating logical-tags (L-tags) and physical-tags (P-tags) with electronic devices. A P-tag includes a P-tag identifier, which can be read by a P-tag reading device, regardless of whether power is applied to the electronic device. In one embodiment, a system includes a P-tag comprising a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag having a non-volatile memory to store physical and logical attribute information; and an electronic device associated with the RFID tag, the electronic device having a processor and a bus, and being communicatively coupled to the RFID tag over the bus, the processor to execute instructions to read information from and write information to the non-volatile memory of the RFID tag.

Abstract: A manufacturing/process control system information access provider architecture is disclosed. Manufacturing/process control system data provider flexibility is achieved through a user-configurable manufacturing/process control information portal server that comprises multiple selectable data provides (sources) and/or data types that a particular data provider accommodates. A user configures the portal server to deliver manufacturing/process control information associated with a controlled process environment, such as a food processing plant floor or an oil refinery reactor, to the user via a browser client over the Internet or a corporate intranet. Furthermore, an extensible architecture is provided that enables adding new components to the portal server. Such extensions include new data sources and new data types/handlers.

Abstract: Expressions are selectively retrieved from memory during compilation by scanning code for expressions that can be effectively accessed directly from highly cached memory without needing to be loaded into a register, e.g., expressions that are not modified by the rest of the code. The scanning may include examining the use of the expression. Those expressions may be retrieved directly from the highly cached memory rather than being loaded into registers. This reduces compilation time.

Abstract: Data processing delay is reduced during data processing, using compiler optimization. Blocks of code are scanned in an order from blocks recurring most often to blocks recurring least often. In an order from blocks recurring most often to block recurring least often, shifts are inserted before arithmetic references, such that a previous use of the arithmetic reference does not require a shift, shifts are inserted after each memory use such that the next use of the memory does not require a shift, and shifts are inserted after each arithmetic reference such that the next use of the arithmetic reference requires no shift. In addition, if there is a mismatch between the last shifted amount of any one block and the required initial shifted amount in any of its successors, shifts are inserted to make up for the mismatch.

Abstract: Web services, such as UDDI based web services, are intended to operate synchronously, e.g., a client issues a discovery request for availability of a service provider, or the client issues a web service request for service by a discovered service provider, and the client is expected to block/wait until a response is received to the clients request. While this configuration may work effectively when the client has a stable network connection, it is not effective when the client is offline. An environment is disclosed for effectively implementing web services when the client is offline by faking appropriate registry and service provider responses, and then deferring request processing until network connectivity is restored.

Abstract: Systems and methods of flyback capacitor level shifter feedback regulation for negative pumps. In accordance with a first embodiment of the present invention, a feedback regulator for a negative output charge pump comprises a flyback capacitor for inverting an output of the negative output charge pump to a positive voltage. The feedback regulator further comprises a voltage comparator for comparing the positive voltage to a reference voltage. The voltage comparator is also for producing an enable signal for control of pump driving signals to the negative output charge pump. The feedback regulator further comprises a first plurality of switches for selectively coupling a first terminal of the flyback capacitor between a low voltage and the output and a second plurality of switches for selectively coupling a second terminal of the flyback capacitor between a low voltage and the voltage comparator. Further, the feedback regulator comprises switch control logic for controlling the plurality of switches.

Abstract: A detachable electrostatic chuck is capable of being attached to a pedestal in a process chamber. The chuck comprises an electrostatic puck having a ceramic body with an embedded electrode. The chuck also has a baseplate below the electrostatic puck with a lower surface which is bonded to a sealing assembly comprising a sealing plate and sealing ring. The sealing plate and ring are polished to form a gas-tight seal between the chuck and pedestal to prevent gas leakage from or into this region.

Abstract: The invention relates to an electrical system or circuit for a by-wire control system. The control system includes a hydraulic pump, a reservoir, a bi-directional function actuator, and solenoid operated valves for controlling the actuator in response to control signals from the electronic system. The electronic system includes first and second pairs of command device position sensors, a first channel and a second channel. Each channel includes main processing unit and a supervisory control unit. Each main processing unit is connected to a pair of the command device position sensors, and a pair of the solenoid operated valves.

Abstract: A method and system for supporting mobile routers in Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) is provided. A mobile router obtains a care-of-address associated with an address configuration. The mobile router registers the care-of-address with a home agent. A bi-directional tunnel is established between the mobile router and the home agent. Packets are then forwarded via the bi-directional tunnel.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for validating XML documents in a streaming fashion is provided. A streaming validator validates an XML document by comparing the contents of the XML document to an XML schema. Tokens are generated for each element or attribute of the XML schema and for each element or attribute of the XML document using the same generator token function. The elements and attributes of the XML document and XML schema are compared using tokens rather than string comparisons to perform the validation more efficiently.

Abstract: Micropipe-free, single crystal, silicon carbide (SiC) and related methods of manufacture are disclosed. The SiC is grown by placing a source material and seed material on a seed holder in a reaction crucible of the sublimation system, wherein constituent components of the sublimation system including the source material, reaction crucible, and seed holder are substantially free from unintentional impurities. By controlling growth temperature, growth pressure, SiC sublimation flux and composition, and a temperature gradient between the source material and the seed material or the SiC crystal growing on the seed material during the PVT process, micropipe-inducing process instabilities are eliminated and micropipe-free SiC crystal is grown on the seed material.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for avoiding dicing chip-outs in integrated circuit die comprises: (a) providing a wafer for forming a plurality of integrated circuit die thereon; (b) forming the plurality of integrated circuit die on the wafer; and (c) forming a saw street between the integrated circuit die on the wafer to relieve cutting stress in the wafer when the integrated circuit die are separated by a dicing saw.
