  • Publication number: 20240223670
Abstract: Systems and associated methods are described for determining popularity of new content. The system analyzes a content item to identify at least a first and a second attribute associated with the content item. The system also identifies previously posted content items associated with the first and the second attributes. The system then determines levels of user activity associated with the previously posted content item corresponding to the first attribute over a first past time period and associated with the previously posted content item corresponding to the second attribute over a second past time period. The system then extrapolates a levels of user activity for a future time period based on the first past time period and on the second past time period. The system further determines an anticipated level of user activity associated with the content item for the future time period based on the extrapolated levels of user activity.

  • Patent number: 12028742
Abstract: A method of wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) includes determining an original amount of uplink data stored in a non-compression buffer, the original amount of data designated to be transmitted to a network. The method also includes predicting, with a machine learning model, an amount of compression gain for the original amount of uplink data. The compression gain is obtained by compressing the original amount of uplink data during a time delay. The method further includes generating a buffer status report based on the original amount of uplink data and the predicted amount of compression gain. The method transmits the buffer status report to the network.

  • Patent number: 12013780
Abstract: Components on an IC chip may operate faster or provide higher performance relative to power consumption if allowed access to sufficient memory resources. If every component is provided its own memory, however, the chip becomes expensive. In described implementations, memory is shared between two or more components. For example, a processing component can include computational circuitry and a memory coupled thereto. A multi-component cache controller is coupled to the memory. Logic circuitry is coupled to the cache controller and the memory. The logic circuitry selectively separates the memory into multiple memory partitions. A first memory partition can be allocated to the computational circuitry and provide storage to the computational circuitry. A second memory partition can be allocated to the cache controller and provide storage to multiple components.
