    Abstract: Systems, methods, and circuitries are provided for using an application Layer 2 buffer for reordering out of sequence (OOS) packets when possible to reduce an amount of memory allocated to a baseband (BB) Layer 2 (L2) buffer. In one example, a baseband circuitry of a user equipment (UE), includes BB memory, configured as a BB L2 buffer and one or more BB processors. The BB processors are configured to receive an OOS packet from a physical layer; and in response to an APP L2 buffer status indicating at least a first amount of memory is available, send the OOS packet to APP circuitry for storing in an APP L2 buffer.

    Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for tracking and/or controlling unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) as well as tracking UAV controllers (UACs) within a cellular network. A UAV/UAC may provide a cellular network with tracking information such as speed, orientation, altitude, C2 communication quality, C2 communication mode change request, measurement report, RRC status, cell ID, TAC ID, current location of the UAV, and destination of the UAV. The network may forward this information to an unmanned aerial system (UAS) traffic management system (UTM). The UTM may determine, based in part on the tracking information, whether to transfer control of the UAV from the UAC to the UTM. In some embodiments, the UAV/UAC may trigger the UTM to transfer control of the UAV form the UAC to the UTM.

The device accesses entries in a data structure that each includes a first field and a second field respectively storing a flow identifier and a TCP ACK Generation Count. The device determines that a condition is satisfied, comprising that an entry in the data structure includes a flow identifier and a TCP ACK Generation Count matching the first flow identifier and the first TCP ACK Generation Count, respectively. In response to determining that the UE has moved from the first TA to a second TA, the UE may abort a sending of the authentication response, and may send the stored authentication response according to the first authentication request to the mobility management node of the second TA in response to the receipt of the second authentication request and in further response to a determination that a given parameter of each of the first and second authentication requests are the same.

While receiving a satellite signal, the vehicle may pre-store future geographic locations based on a travel route and upon detecting a loss of the satellite signal, the vehicle may estimate a geographic location of the UE based on one or more types of information, such as mapping or navigation capabilities of the UE, a travel time since the signal failure or last estimated geographic location, a travel velocity since the since the signal failure or last estimated geographic location, etc. The vehicle may determine, based on an estimated geographic location, that physical resources are appropriate for SL communications and begin using the physical resources accordingly.

The UE determines a most efficient antenna of the multi-antenna array for an operating frequency band of the LTE and NR connections, wherein the most efficient antenna is determined based on at least one performance factor for the UE when using the antenna compared to other antennas of the multi-antenna array, evaluates one or more factors for determining whether the LTE RAT or the NR RAT is to use the most efficient antenna and transmits uplink data on the most efficient antenna via either the LTE RAT or the NR RAT based on the evaluated factors.
