    Abstract: Methods and systems for handling power saving signals to improve power saving performance of UE. A method disclosed herein includes enabling, a User Equipment (UE), to monitor a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) for downlink control information based on a reception of power saving signals from a Base Station with respect to a discontinuous-reception (DRX) cycle. The power saving signals include a Wake Up Signal (WUS), Go To Sleep (GTS) signal and PDCCH adaptation signal. The method further includes enabling the UE to monitor the PDCCH, if the WUS indicates presence of the PDCCH and enables the UE to skip the monitoring of the PDCCH during an On-duration of the DRX cycle, if the WUS indicates absence of the PDCCH. The method further includes enabling the UE to skip the monitoring of the PDCCH in an active time of the DRX cycle, on receiving the GTS signal.

The system may implement facial recognition technology to identified instances of use of the verified content in searchable media and produce a report including one or more selectable actions corresponding to each instance of identified use of the verified content. Advantageously, the system may be configured to output a report of a user efficient and effectively and further provide the user with one or more recommendations corresponding to the verified content.

The MAC CE (320) comprises at least one of a Channel Identifier (ID), a DRX index, and a Radio Network Temporary Identifier (RNTI). The method includes determining that the received MAC CE (320) comprises a DRX command for at least one MBS service based on the at least one of the Channel ID, the DRX index and the RNTI. The DRX command is for stopping at least one timer of DRX configuration of the at least one MBS service. The method includes stopping the at least one timer of DRX configuration of the at least one MBS service based on the determination.

According to one embodiment, responsive to receipt of a write operation from a client by a file system layer of a node of a distributed storage system and a data payload of the operation having been determined to meet a compressibility threshold, an intermediate storage layer of the node logically interposed between the file system layer and a block storage media is caused to perform a single input/output (I/O) write operation that persists the compressed data payload and corresponding metadata to support asynchronous journaling of the write operation. The single I/O write operation coupled with the use of a new pool file that maintains a list of available blocks for single I/O write operations and a modified node crash recovery approach allows the write operation to be acknowledged to the client while the journaling is performed asynchronously.

    Abstract: Methods and systems for media trend detection and maintenance are provided herein. A set of media items each having common media characteristics is identified. A set of pose values is determined for each respective media item of the set of media items. Each pose value is associated with a particular predefined pose for objects depicted by the set of media items. A set of distance scores is calculated. Each distance score represents a distance between the respective set of pose values determined for a media item and a respective set of pose values determined for an additional media item. A coherence score is determined for the set of media items based on the calculated set of distance scores. Responsive to a determination that the coherence score satisfies one or more coherence criteria, a determination is made that the set of media items corresponds to a media trend of a platform.

    Abstract: Techniques for battery retention are disclosed. In the illustrative embodiment, a thin polyurethane strap is used to hold a battery in place. The strap only requires a small amount of volume, allowing for a higher volume (and higher capacity) for the battery. In order to accommodate swelling, a computing device that has a battery held in place with such a strap can have an open area above the battery. The strap may have ridges to contact the battery and the component above the battery beyond the open area. If the battery swells, the ridges may be pressed down, accommodating the swelling battery.
