  • Publication number: 20060050479
Abstract: A screwless fixing clip for disk drive having a fixing clip that realizes fixedly clipping position of disk drives that are installed within a computer case by means of fixing plates. The fixing clip eliminates need for screws, and only utilizes a pressure plate configured on a clip plate to fixedly clasp a folded plate of one end of the fixing plate. A piece configured on an arc-shaped plate of another end of the clip penetrates a catch slot defined in the computer case, and a side of a catch edge configured on a side of the catch slot is fixedly clasped by means of a catch of an inner edge of the piece, thereby rapidly and easily fixedly clipping position of the disk drives that are installed within the computer by means of the fixing plates.

  • Patent number: 6924975
Abstract: A computer case with side panel clip fastening configuration utilizing a direct clip fastening method to quickly secure side panels of a computer case to a computer case housing. An inner catch first lodges into a notch defined on the side panel, and subsequently rotated 90° therein to secure its positioning. The configuration further employs a cylindrical positioning socket configured on the clip fasteners to pass through through-holes defined in the side panels and thereupon into securing holes defined in the computer case housing. The side panels and computer case housing are thereby assembled to form a computer case in its entirety.

  • Patent number: 6899407
Abstract: The invention is a device for quickly detaching and reassembling a frontmask of a computer casing including a movable device. The movable device consists of an anchor, a plurality of sliding clips, two wedge-shaped push-heads, a retraction spring, a handle and some other related parts. Two wedge-shaped push-heads are located on an upper side on both ends of the movable device and have a beveled surface. To detach the frontmask of the casing, the beveled surfaces and the wedge-shaped push-heads of the movable device push the anchoring elements outwards, so that the frontmask can quickly be detached from the computer casing.

  • Publication number: 20040119430
Abstract: A power fan speed controller is capable of adjusting a fan speed synchronously along with the variation of a load power so as to solve the shortcomings of a conventional, unsteady, not precise enough and temperature-controlled fan speed controller. The structure of the present invention detects a power signal at the power source end and converts the power signal into a voltage signal in direct ratio to the power; the voltage signal is transmitted into a comparator to compare with a reference voltage thereby controlling a transistor connected with the fan.

  • Patent number: 6375287
Abstract: A retaining device for a side cover of a computer casing has a sliding plate movably received beneath the top face of the computer casing and a set of extensions formed on the side cover. The sliding plate has a wedged block formed to detachably engage with distal ends of the extensions. The movement of the sliding plate allows the wedged block to engage with the distal ends of the extensions of the side cover to push away the side cover from the computer casing. Therefore, the side cover is separated from the computer casing readily.
