Abstract: A cup assembly including a cup having a pair of opposed curved sides, each of the pair of opposed curved sides is a deflectable side, a lid releasably connected to the cup, and a straw operatively associated with the cup to transport fluids from said cup to a user, is provided. The cup assembly has two opposed convex sides; and a zone of compression on each of the convex sides is provided. The zone of compression on one convex sides is deflectable towards a zone of deflection on the other convex side to permit the cup to be compressed.

Abstract: A seal indication mechanism for a container assembly having a container and a lid is provided. The seal indication mechanism has a portion on the container and a portion on the lid that interface to indicate to a user that a seal has been achieved between the container and the lid. The seal indication mechanism provides an audible, tactile and visual indication to the user that the lid and container are sealed. The seal indication mechanism functions to indicate a range of sealed relative positions between the container and the lid throughout the usable life of the container assembly.

Abstract: Waste disposal devices and methods are provided. The device includes a housing, a lid, a bucket frame, a pair of members, and a foot pedal. The foot pedal is operatively associated with the lid and the pair of members so that the lid is in the closed position and the pair of members is in the non-use position when the foot pedal is in the upper position. Further, the foot pedal is operatively associated with the lid and the pair of members so that the lid is in the open position and the pair of members is in the use position when the foot pedal is in the lower position.
