  • Publication number: 20230055584
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to the field of digital currency, more particularly, cryptocurrency and secure payment systems using Public-key cryptography. The new cryptocurrency system utilizes digitally locked coins that can be owned and exchanged anonymously without the need for any owner account. Coin owners exchange coins by sending the digital keys of the coins, and recipients use the received digital keys to change the digital locks of the received coins. The digitally locked coins are tracked in a public book that is maintained centrally or distributively by one or more bookkeepers. The new cryptocurrency system is efficient and provides fast, anonymous, and secure transactions.

  • Publication number: 20230009317
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to methods that include training, by a new profile process executing on a computer system, a contrastive loss function to identify fraudulent images associated with a particular entity. The new profile process may receive new profile information that includes a new profile image and a new profile identifier and compare the new profile identifier to one or more existing profile identifiers. In response to determining that one or more existing profile identifiers satisfy a threshold identifier metric, a particular neural network, using the contrastive loss function, may compare the new profile image to one or more existing profile images corresponding to the one or more existing profile identifiers. The new profile process may determine, using the comparing, whether the new profile information is a possible fake profile of a legitimate profile.

  • Publication number: 20220312443
Abstract: A method of wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving a number of uplink grants from a base station. The method further includes estimating a payload size for data to be transmitted from a UE buffer for a number of logical channels. The payload size corresponds to a sum of a number of data bytes to be transmitted and an amount of overhead bytes to be transmitted. The method still further includes determining a subset of the number of uplink grants to use for uplink transmission based on reducing a total padding size associated with transmitting the payload size, for each combination of the number of uplink grants. The method also includes transmitting the data from the UE buffer within a number of transport blocks, to the base station. The number of transport blocks corresponds to the subset of the number of uplink grants.

  • Publication number: 20220220481
Abstract: The present invention relates to the treatment of infections due to antibiotic-resistant bacteria. Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) has been observed at dangerously high levels worldwide and alternative strategies are urgently needed. Antisense therapy has been identified as potential therapeutic tool for tackling AMR. However, in the context of AMR, since the antisense oligonucleotides have to reach the target mRNA to be efficient, the cellular uptake inside prokaryotic cells is a critical issue. The inventors demonstrated that antisense oligonucleotide sequences, in particular targeting the blaCTX/M15 gene, featuring a lipid moiety conjugated to the ASO extremity show a particularly efficient intracellular penetration in prokaryotic cells and that these lipid-modified antisense oligonucleotides can show a further improved enzymatic stability with phosphorothioate chemistry (PTO).

  • Publication number: 20220221942
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to a new computer input and tracking device, and method of using, more particularly, a new type of digital pen which tracks user hand movements to generate series of point coordinates that represent a drawing or hand writing. Unlike prior digital pens such as the Apple Pencil™ or the Microsoft Surface Pen™, the new system does not require users to write on a touch-sensitive surface. Users can write on any surface such as a notebook, a table, a board, or even in mid air. Users can draw two-dimensional or three-dimensional drawings. The new method utilizes a pen marked with one or more groups of distinct tracking marks or tracking patterns and a camera to track the pen in real-time. A computer running a 3D algorithm processes the camera images, detects and distinguishes the tracking marks, and uses the tracking marks to calculate the positions of the tip of the pen in three-dimensional space.

  • Publication number: 20220152822
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to the field of robotics and computer animation, more particularly, method and apparatus to solve the inverse kinematics problem to control a kinematic chain such as a robot arm or an animation character's skeleton to reach a target position. The new method simulates a kinematic chain whose links and joints are elastic and can be distorted. The method distorts the kinematic chain to move its end to the target position, calculates distortions, and iteratively adjusts link and joint configurations of the kinematic chain to reduce distortions while keeping its end at the target position until a solution with near zero distortions is found. The resulting link and joint configurations of the simulated kinematic chain then can be used for the actual kinematic chain to reach the same target position.

  • Publication number: 20220101304
Abstract: Systems and/or techniques for facilitating relay attack prevention for electronic quick response (QR) codes are provided. In various embodiments, a system can determine a cardinality and a frame rate. In various aspects, the system can transmit a first electronic instruction to a mobile device, which can cause the mobile device to generate a set of interlaced frames having the determined cardinality. In various cases, the set of interlaced frames can respectively correspond to a set of portions of an electronic QR code, such that different frames from the set of interlaced frames depict different portions from the set of portions of the electronic QR code. In various aspects, the first electronic instruction can further cause the mobile device to sequentially render, at the determined frame rate, the set of interlaced frames on an electronic display of the mobile device.
