  • Patent number: 11775003
Abstract: A clock calibration module, a high-speed receiver, and an associated calibration method are provided. The calibration method is applied to the high-speed receiver having the clock calibration module and a sampler. The sampler samples an equalized data signal with a sampler-input clock. The clock calibration module includes multiple clock generation circuits and a clock calibration circuit. Each of the clock generation circuits includes a phase interpolator, a duty cycle corrector, and a phase corrector. In a calibration mode, the phase interpolator interpolates a reference input clock and generates an interpolated clock accordingly. The duty cycle corrector generates a duty cycle corrected clock based on the interpolated clock. The phase corrector generates the sampler-input clock based on the duty cycle corrected clock. The phase interpolator is controlled by a phase interpolator calibration signal, and the phase corrector is controlled by a phase corrector calibration signal.

  • Patent number: 11754726
Abstract: A mobile device in a moving vehicle initializes a Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS)-Inertial Navigation System (INS) system while the vehicle is in-motion with the orientation of the mobile device with respect to a global reference frame. The mobile device uses gyroscope measurements made while the vehicle is turning to determine a gravity vector. The gravity vector and accelerometer measurements may be used to determine a forward vector for the mobile device. A north vector is determined using the GNSS measurements. After the GNSS-INS system is calibrated, the mobile device may be positioned with respect to the vehicle. The orientation of the mobile device, prior to repositioning, may be compared to a current orientation, determined while the vehicle is in motion, in order to determine whether the GNSS-INS system should be re-initialized.

  • Publication number: 20230284028
Abstract: Systems and methods enable the provisioning of security as a service for network slices. A network device stores definitions of multiple security assurance levels for network slices based on security parameters of assets used in the network slices. The network device stores multiple network slice templates, wherein the multiple network slice templates have different security assurance levels, of the multiple security assurance levels, for a Network Service Descriptor (NSD). The network device receives a request for a network slice with a requested security assurance level, of the multiple security assurance levels, for the NSD, and deploys the network slice using one of the network slice templates that has a security assurance level that corresponds to the requested security assurance level. The network device monitors the security parameters of the assets of the network slice for changes to the security assurance level of the deployed network slice.

  • Patent number: 11750509
Abstract: A first network device may receive a flow of unicast packets with a loop prevention bit set. The flow of unicast packets may be received from a second network device associated with a non-operational link provided between the second network device and a destination device. The second network device may be a peer of the first network device. The first network device may determine whether a link provided between the first network device and the destination device is operational, and may forgo returning the flow of unicast packets to the second network device when the link provided between the first network device and the destination device is non-operational and based on the loop prevention bit.

  • Patent number: 11693772
Abstract: A system and a method are disclosed that efficiently supports an append operation in an object storage system. A size of data received with a request for an append operation from an application is determined based on a data-alignment characteristic of a storage medium. Data that is not aligned with the data-alignment characteristic is stored in persistent memory and aggregated with other data from the application that is not aligned with the data-alignment characteristic, while data that is aligned with the data-alignment characteristic is stored directly in the storage medium. Aggregated data that becomes aligned with the data-alignment characteristic as additional requests for append operations are received are migrated to the storage medium.

The voltage comparison module receives a differential signal, including a first shifted signal and a second shifted signal. The voltage comparison module includes a first comparator and a second comparator. Based on the first shifted signal, the second shifted signal, and a voltage threshold, the first and the second comparators respectively generate a first and a second comparison signals. The hybrid logic filter includes a controllable logic gate and a capacitor. The controllable logic gate performs a logic operation related to the first and the second comparison signals and generates a filtered and converted pulse accordingly. The controllable logic gate and the capacitor jointly perform a preliminary filtering operation to the filtered and converted pulse while the logic operation is being performed.

  • Patent number: 11677653
Abstract: A transit/egress node in a communication network uses a performance measured flow (PMF) identifier for statistics collection for a given PMF. The PMF identifier is carried in the piggy backed information without the use of separate SR label. The Piggy backed information carries the node information role of the node used by the transit egress node to collect statistics for a given PM segment. The node collects the statistics for multiple segments and multiple PM types using a metadata present in single received packet.
